After purchasing this apartment with a view of the ocean, I started selecting furniture from scratch.

I was covering my fluffy sofa with a blanket, but even with the air conditioning on, it was still hot, so I bought a throw blanket with the same pattern as the cushions from ACTUS.
It's just the right thickness and doesn't get floppy when used as a sofa cover! I looked around for a few, but this was the one that felt the best.
I was looking for something pure white, but I guess it's fine.
The sofa is now comfortable again (they fall asleep).
My kids climb on it with their feet, so I put a sofa protector over it to prevent stains (second photo).
This protector repels water from every fiber while preserving the softness of the sofa fibers.
It wears off quickly, but it's said to be water-repellent for up to six months, depending on usage, so it's a good choice for a sofa that can't be washed.
You always think you can just wash it when it gets dirty, but once it gets dirty, it's surprisingly difficult to remove stains from sofas and blankets.
The fact that it's not sticky, odorless, and not stiff is a big plus.
