💡Important tips for those of you who just want to make a skylight in the kitchen.
As much as possible, don't align it with the work area/kitchen table in the kitchen so that sunlight doesn't fall along our work area in the kitchen. If it's dry, the heat is excruciating on the skin. It's best to make it across like my kitchen because the sunlight will fall through and there is still cool space that we can freely use for preparing food.

The laundry room area with an area of 2.8mx1.92m uses a solartuff roof. This service area is also designated as a place for ironing. One way to keep this space clean and aesthetic is not to display too many objects that are not related to the function of this room.

The kitchen atmosphere when the weather is not too hot. The distance between the kitchen cabinet and the kitchen island is 1.7m, the height from floor to ceiling is 3m, and the length of the kitchen is 6m.

The most colorful room in the house, which is predominantly white and has light wood tones, is the kitchen. I deliberately played with brightly colored cooking utensils in this room so that I could inspire enthusiasm for cooking every day. Everything displayed on the kitchen set and kitchen island are items that are actually used daily. For items that are not used daily, I store them all neatly in the cabinet.

If we talk about our favorite room in this house, it's definitely the kitchen area. Most of my time is always in the kitchen. Whether it's cooking, baking, drinking coffee, gossiping or just taking photos and videos for content 😂😂😂.
Yesterday's renovation was the kitchen that had the most major renovation. We expanded from 3x3m to 6x6m. And I made a simple and neat cabinet in shades of white without any accents to make it look minimalist and sleek. What is displayed on the kitchen table, kitchen shelf or kitchen island are only objects that are used every day. Meanwhile, objects that are not used on a daily basis are stored neatly in the cabinet.
My favorite item in the kitchen is cooking utensils, which I buy in installments one by one. Hahaha...cast iron pans, which are versatile, can be used for cooking anything, and are also kitchen accessories because of their fresh colors. Apart from that, a standing mixer, because I bake most often. Kitchen sets and kitchen islands are also my favorites, because I invested thought and money in this kitchen. I really adjusted the design and every detail of this kitchen to my needs.

Mini home tour
The journey to our ideal residence was quite winding. It drains your energy, mind, health and wallet of course hahaha. The renovation of this residence is full of drama. But it's okay, just proceed and do it.
I look for a lot of home inspiration from Pinterest because a year ago I wasn't familiar with oHouse 😄. Every day I try to create a residence that is as comfortable and aesthetic as possible (in my eyes).

I customized this dining table set at Julian Furniture Jepara. Unfortunately they don't have a website and aren't on the Marketplace. It has been on my wish list for a long time to have a dining table with wishbone chairs. Many references to Scandinavian houses that I see use wishbone chairs like this. And it turns out the results are really beautiful and really suitable for home. What do you think, is it suitable or not?

House Facade
The facade of our house is dominated by white, gray, black and terracotta. During yesterday's renovation, we didn't change everything from the developer's building, in order to save budget. So some still use the developer's original roof with old school tiles.

For the kitchen set, I used IKEA METOD veddinge (white) for all the cabinets, and Karlby oak veneer for the counter top. Before renovating the kitchen, I used the same kitchen set, only the counter top had changed color because the previous material, birch wood, had been discontinued.

BTNOA Season 3
The kitchen - the highlight of our renovation project. Finally our renovation project was finished, one of our major renovations was the kitchen expansion. What was originally a kitchen length of 2.5m became 6m. And to increase lighting in the kitchen, we added a skylight. The presence of a skylight really changes the vibe of this room. My kitchen has always been white, because I think white things are easier to clean than colored ones. Then I also chose a kitchen set that is up to the ceiling so there are lots of storage places.

The bathrooms in #arieskamarina's house are all mini. So you have to be smart in choosing furniture and arranging the decorations so that it doesn't interfere with our freedom of movement in the bathroom. Because it's narrow, I use baskets to store bathroom necessities such as tissue, soap, shampoo, etc. For skincare and perfumes, etc., I deliberately looked for a mirror that has a cabinet behind it so that it doesn't take up more space. For a cabinet like this, the price is quite affordable. This is also a best buy.
For the shape of the bathroom itself, the developer already has this shape, I only replaced the ceramic floor with Milan tiles Calina Pixie by stacking it without removing the original ceramic. For the walls around, we left it as it was, the developer used ceramics all over, but I don't know the type and brand. Then I made 1 table for the washbasin and a shelf under the table for storage. The material of the table and shelf is PVC board then covered with taco sheet with a color that matches the color of the door.

Re-decorate
The stair area has been slightly modified for renewal, the tall flower pots have been replaced with rattan tables that are more in tune with the surroundings. Is it suitable or not?
