The playful and warm living room with an art deco and mid-century modern theme is the aesthetic point you want to display in this living room, why?
Firstly, the living room is the largest space in our house so it is the right space for chatting with family members or visiting guests ✨
Second, the living room is the initial space when entering the house, so we try to create a pleasant atmosphere when entering the house. Welcome us after tired work and travel😊
Third, this area is part of an open space that combines the living room with a relaxing room, thereby saving space in the house. To relax we usually use the living room to listen to music on the vinyl player or just watch movies 🎶🎬
To create a playful and warm atmosphere, we used a number of unique decoration items, futuristic in terms of shape but without leaving the traditional impression of wooden furniture.
For example, hanging decorations from IKEA's latest collection, Tasammans. There is also a stainless steel trolley rack, and a mid-century modern jengki TV console 💫

Another living room because the other room is still in progress ⭐️
It is planned that the rooms in this apartment will carry the 1980-1990s art deco revival style with a touch of Hollywood Regency which was popular in the 1950s. In this living room, several elements of this style are applied in the choice of jewel tones on the walls and sofa, as well as geometric motifs and animal prints on the carpet and pillowcases as accents. Reflective materials such as stainless steel, brass, and burl-patterned HPL with a glossy finish also add dimension to the room so it doesn't seem flat.
Both art deco and Hollywood Regency are interior styles that are ornamental and tend to be maximalist, which are often accompanied by collections of antiques and other one of a kind elements that reflect the owner's preferences and personality. Therefore, it takes a lot of time to curate and collect items that match this aesthetic.
I myself almost never buy new decorations in online shops or marketplaces and prefer to look for vintage items either online or in markets. Incidentally, I don't like most of the current mass market decor because I think decoration is the personal style and self-reflection of the occupant, so it would be a shame to just follow the trends set by social media algorithms.

Hi hi welcome to g3.loka. The idea for the name of this house is actually simple, the initials of the three of our names, except for the father because his name does not start with G. 😆
Then continue to the story of our house which started from my love for arches. I really like seeing curves like this. Feel calm and warming. Until finally I asked the architect to draw a house that must have an arch.
I had to revise the drawing up to 3 times until I found this last drawing with an Art Deco theme. Although our house is not big, the land area is only 84m, but we already have an idea of wanting to decorate it with a warm minimalist theme, where it will be filled with charming pastel colors but does not hurt the eyes hehe.
