Recently, I refreshed the wall area in the middle of this living room. The plan was to make this wall into a gallery wall, but because I wanted the wall to be filled with personal and curated items, I used shelves that can be added as more knick-knacks are displayed. Originally my house had a checkered ceramic floor with black grout, but that kind of floor model didn't match the personality of the house.
