🌸 Backyard Transformation 🌸 Slide 1-3 is my backyard now, slide 4-5 is my old backyard. Previously, my backyard was a wet garden, because I wanted to grow plants, slow living by harvesting vegetables from my own garden, but it failed 🤣 The sunlight here is not very good because it is covered by other buildings around it that are higher, finally the humidity level is quite high and there are lots of pests such as snails without shells that like to eat leaves, grass can't grow well and ends up making the walls and windows dirty with splashes of water and soil when it rains. Finally, this backyard was renovated into a dry garden with synthetic grass, ornamental plants are also planted in pots so that they are easy to move, the area around the grass is given white stones to make it more beautiful. We also made wooden chairs to relax with walls covered with dollar leaf vines, and the bottom of the chair is left as soil with white stones so that it can be a water catchment area when it rains. 🌸 Me Time in the Backyard 🌸 Before having a house, I really wanted to have a backyard so I could just stare at the plants while sunbathing but without having to meet neighbors passing by, lol 😂 Finally it happened, I have a backyard that is not that big but can always be a place for me time at any time. The best place is to sit and stare here in the afternoon, or play with the kids in the morning while inviting them to sunbathe, while also being able to train the motor skills of the little ones because they walk on synthetic grass and play with stones. The decoration is deliberately not too crowded, so that it doesn't become stuffy, there is only synthetic grass and cast garden chairs with wood that was finally painted white. The plants here are partly planted in pots, some are planted in the ground and climb the walls. For the wall area on the 2nd floor, they still use lemon yellow paint like when it was first built, because the color makes this garden look more alive and cheerful. While the lower part is replaced with full white to make it cleaner.
