🛁 Master Bathroom Details: Calm, Cotton, and Soft Stone
I’m all about making daily routines feel a little more elevated — and our master bathroom is designed to be just that: calm and functional with a hint of spa luxury.
We used a different set of tiles on the walls here — still neutral, but with slightly more texture to create depth. The floor always has a white cotton foot mat, which helps keep the bathroom dry and soft underfoot (and adds that hotel-like feel I love).
My favorite part? The freestanding white towel rack. It holds multiple towels at once so we never run out, and the clean lines keep the space looking tidy. The second photo is a close-up of our shower booth, and the third shows the tile detail by the bathtub — simple materials, styled with intention.

This bathroom transformation started from an empty, untouched space to a modern and elegant space. The process was full of attention to detail, from the selection of materials to the finishing touches that make it comfortable to use.
Transformation steps:
1. Initial Preparation
The initial space was just a rough concrete wall. We made sure the structure and plumbing were in place before starting a major renovation. For ventilation, the skylight was maintained to keep natural light in.
2. Material Selection
We chose light gray porcelain tiles with a smooth texture for the walls and floor, creating a spacious and luxurious impression. This material is also easy to clean and durable.
3. Bathroom Features
• The shower with a matte black rain shower and frameless glass partition gives a minimalist impression.
• The modern white toilet was chosen to match the neutral theme.
• The linear drainage system under the shower ensures that water flows well without leaving puddles.
4. Small Details That Matter
• Accessories such as a matte black soap holder were installed to maintain design consistency.
• Artificial lighting from LED lights is complemented by a skylight to keep the atmosphere bright during the day and night.

✨ Developer's Tiny Bathroom
The bathroom in our house is not too big, measuring 1.5x2m.
We didn't change much of the layout and materials in this bathroom, everything is still the developer's default. Fortunately, from the start, the ceramics & walls used white, so it gives a more spacious impression.
To decorate it, we chose black toiletries and added wood accents to give a warmer impression.
We deliberately repotted the colorful shampoos & soaps into bottles with matching colors so that the bathroom doesn't look full.
