From Bat Nest to Room "with a view"
The balcony area in this room used to be just a "toilet" for bats. Because the house is located near the road, the balcony area of this room gets dusty easily so it ends up being neglected.
Seeing the beautiful view of the garden in front of the house where the trees are getting bigger, I feel it would be a shame if it wasn't used. Finally I decided to renovate this empty room with a balcony. With the help of my sister, who is an interior designer, Aisyah Hanani, I want to expand the room area by just dismantling this balcony area.
The room which was initially dark, finally had 2 new openings made with large windows. One window maximizes the view of the front of the house, while the window on the side is for the AC service area. The position of the windows and layout of my room was helped by my sister who is an interior designer.
However, unfortunately during the work there was a difference in wall thickness between the old room and the balcony. It can be seen from the line accents where the bedroom wall meets the balcony and on the top wall. Because smoothing the walls can take a lot of time, we ended up leaving the imperfections alone.

Lighting in the living room
In this room we use 2 types of lights, cool white lights and warm lights.
We only use the cool white lights that we installed on the ceiling of this room when guests come at night. Meanwhile, the lamp that you often use is the warm lamp on the table lamp above the fireplace shelf in this room.
Because warm lights create a warm ambience / mood in this room 🧡

Having a house with limited land makes us think about maximizing the space at home. Like this cabinet under the stairs, we function it as a warehouse, dispenser, shoe rack, and the top of the cabinet for storage. This staircase cabinet design takes a Japandi theme with the choice of wood grain patterned HPL.

Come visit my living room. This room is simple with functional furniture.
Use neutral colors (wood, grey, white) and terracotta colors on the sofa, so that this sofa looks a little different from its surroundings. This combination is what I think makes this room look aesthetic.
I left the walls of the room, which are 3 meters wide, empty so they look spacious. I added a white/grey carpet. Once this carpet was in the laundry, the living room immediately seemed empty. It looks simple but the carpet has a big impact on the vibe of the living room. Not only does it provide comfort but it can also be said to be a selling point here.
Don't miss out on the artificial plants with rattan pots next to the sofa to make the room feel more alive (even if they are plastic plants 😅)

How I Organize the Kitchen
This is a super small in-line kitchen in our house, there is no special dining area, the kitchen area is only enough for cabinet placement, therefore we are determined that this small kitchen area should be as eye catching as possible so that it doesn't feel stuffy and boring.
Apart from being used to store cooking utensils, this kitchen cabinet / kitchen set is also used to store several decorative items so that the kitchen still looks lively.

From “Horror” to Aesthetic with Lighting🌿👩🎨
The most aesthetic room in my house is my bedroom window. I took advantage of the view of the front garden of the house which is often considered "Horror" by Indonesian people, with a super large window measuring 200x150cm.
Psst, this is a rare sight in Bekasi City, so you have to make the most of it👀
For me, the selling point of this room is the view from the window every time! From bright lights during the golden hours until night! Each time has its own beauty. Assisted by outdoor lighting above the window, the spotlight from the lamp gives a depth effect to the leaves and trees. So the trees exposed to this light look like a natural painting.
The concept for this room has a minimalist impression with a moodboard of white, pink, hemlock wood and gold accents. So the furniture you choose must match the color & shape. For indoor lighting there are two modes: warm light when I want to rest, and bright white when I want to work.
I place this aesthetic area as my work area. As a creative worker, a natural atmosphere like this really helps me to come up with ideas when I'm hit by a work deadline, hehe.

The room that we think is aesthetic is the kitchen room which is integrated with this small garden. Why can we call it aesthetic? Because here you can see the difference between two house concepts, namely Japandi and Industrial. Where these 2 concepts can blend beautifully. Japandi concept with vinyl touches and wooden interior. Meanwhile, Industrial has elements of stone, cement color and iron.

Welcome to our living room, the room most frequently used. Like a living room in general, of course there is a television, sofa and carpet. The perfect combination for lying down, because when we get bored of sitting we usually lie down on the carpet.
This room is dominated by brown. This sofa was originally mint colored, so that everything was the same tone I used a brown sofa cover too. I added a round mirror and an artificial tree to make this room more lively. Also a floor lamp which adds an aesthetic impression at night.

Favorite Things at Home
1. Ivar Ikea shelf, I like it because this shelf is adjustable, it can suit your needs and existing space, it can be changed according to taste, the arrangement is not boring.
2. Dispenser, I really like the design and color, the design is elegant, the look is clean and simple, I also like it because it is quite sophisticated in my opinion, it has touch buttons and has ozone self-cleaning technology.

The lighting atmosphere in my room before breaking the fast & after sahur✨
Here I played with lighting from inside the room and lighting from outside. When I want to rest, I use a warm colored night light and a warm colored hanging lamp near the bed area too. Meanwhile, for the outside lights, I used a 20 watt white spotlight lamp. The light from the outdoor lights shining on the tree in front of my bedroom window gives its own accent so it looks like a painting.

This in-line kitchen, which only measures 2x1.5m, is a challenge for me personally to organize this kitchen so that it is neat & comfortable in my version.
The way I style this kitchen so it looks neat is by adding upper and lower cabinets. And also use a storage box in the cupboard.
Apart from that, as much as possible, don't put a lot of kitchen details/items on the table top so that it looks neat and not too cramped.
The focal point in this kitchen is the beveled ceramic backsplash which I attached using sealant glue over the previous ceramic without removing it 🤗
Lastly, to make the kitchen more lively I added some artificial plants & artificial flowers in a vase.

My Dream Kitchen
I have very minimal space for the kitchen area, therefore I really think carefully about equipping my kitchen. I have two principles in filling the kitchen:
1. Every item must have a “home”
2. As much as possible, every item must not only be functional but also have aesthetic value
My kitchen not only functions as a place to cook, but also functions as decoration in the house with several displays placed in the kitchen.

Good evening from the living room. In this room I used several lighting to create a different atmosphere. There are floor lamps, ceiling lamps, downlights and also wall lamps.
