➖ Compact Kitchen This small hallway-shaped kitchen in my house still has a Bold and Warm theme, we installed a kitchen set to make it tidier and have more storage because the space is limited. We changed the backsplash color to white to make it brighter (previously black), we covered the granite table top with a wood motif wall sticker and also added vinyl flooring to make it more compact and match the color of the table top. ➖ My Dream Kitchen Previously, the kitchen in this house was just a cast table built by the developer which was requested to have black granite attached to the walls and table top. The first concept was also an open shelves kitchen. But because it looked full and messy, in the end we installed a full cabinet (kitchen set) to the end of the kitchen area, which functions as storage too, because this house doesn't have a warehouse. We decided to install a full black cabinet like the one we found inspiration for in the P application, as well as the backsplash which we just changed to a dominant white color to make it look brighter and cleaner. For kitchen decoration items, we still choose those that are more functional and those that are used more often, without too many variations and not too concerned with aesthetics. In this masculine colored kitchen, it turns out that apart from needing prints to support my cooking activities, I also need additional decorations to make the kitchen even more beautiful and handsome🤣 I bought these decorations and supporting prints at a low budget price. First, there is cork board. Because it was really quiet at the blacksplash, I deliberately bought this cork board. Here I attached it using double tip nails so the board can be removed and the blacksplash can still be cleaned completely. Secondly, the cooking support is the spice area. Apart from aesthetics, I use a spice container that is functionally good. The lid is strong and tight so the spices last longer and don't get caught in the wind. The price is also cheap (free stickers according to the name of the spices you want) Third, rattan basket. Because the kitchen set model has shelves, I used a rattan basket to make it neat♥️ Lastly, of course, the dangling artificial plants. Yes, because our house has lots of plants... there are also some plants in the kitchen, but just artificial ones so you don't have to water them. The middle area is wider for preparation and cooking activities. The new cutting board from Ikea in green strengthens the green element in this kitchen in addition to the drying mat and small plants in glass jars.
