Let's try to apply Dani Effendi's knowledge using grids and thirds of rule.

Slide 1 Living Room
With the presence of a mini dry garden on the back terrace, it really changes the vibe of this room. Every morning until noon, the sunlight that enters the walls of the kamprot garden creates a warm and beautiful atmosphere in this living room.

Slides 2 & 3 Kitchens
💡Important tips for those of you who just want to make a skylight in the kitchen.
As much as possible, don't align it with the work area/kitchen table in the kitchen so that sunlight doesn't fall along our work area in the kitchen. If it's dry, the heat is excruciating on the skin. It's best to make it across like my kitchen because the sunlight will fall through and there is still cool space that we can freely use for preparing food.

Slide 4 Laundry room
The laundry room area with an area of 2.8mx1.92m uses a solartuff roof. This service area is also designated as a place for ironing. One way to keep this space clean and aesthetic is not to display too many objects that are not related to the function of this room.

Slide 5 Guest room
One of the iconic rooms in my house. Yes, the most frequently asked questions are solid wood carpets and IKEA curved lamps

Slide 6 Landing
This landing was deliberately decorated so as not to be too empty. Just enough decoration because if it is too much it will become cramped and disrupt the flow up and down the stairs. There are purposely mirrors so that when the children come down from their rooms and get ready for school, they can take the time to see whether their appearance/clothes are neat.

This small corner on the staircase landing is not free from decorative touches. Even though it is tiny, it can still make the house feel more alive 💮🪄🪜

The most aesthetic space in my house is the stair landing. The main furniture in this area is always the same, what often changes are the green plants and the decorations on the table shelves. This time I replaced the green plants in the corner of the window which usually use terracotta pots with Boston ferns, this time I changed them with philo crocodile plants. Then I also added asparagus moss plants on the table shelves, so that the decorations don't get bored. And I added a really cute IKEA SOLVINDEN lamp, I happened to find it at IKEA Bangkok yesterday which wasn't available/hasn't entered maybe at IKEA Indonesia.

For those of you who want to decorate the landing area, choose furniture that doesn't take up much space, because this is the stair area, safety is still number one. Make sure the flow up and down the stairs is still comfortable. Hopefully it inspires you. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 #myHouseInspiration #bordes #stairlandingdecor #stairlanding #ikea #inspirasidekorbordes #indoorplants

This is how I style my “narrow corner room”. The key is to first measure the area you want to decorate. Then decide what you want to do in that area. Here, because this is a transition room between the 2nd floor and the 1st floor, I deliberately put a mirror so that the children whose rooms are on the 2nd floor can go downstairs when they want to go to school and see their appearance once again before leaving the house. I also put a small table, the dimensions of which have been clearly measured before purchasing so that it doesn't become cramped and disrupt walking flow in the stairwell area. Actually this is a plant rack table from IKEA, but I like the shape and color which really suits this room, and can be used as a console table.
