Starting from buying a sofa, cupboard, small table and items from the previous residence. Pleased to meet you! 😊 A little story, I started to be interested in indoor plants when the 2020 pandemic started, I was still living in my old apartment with my family and decided to adopt plants from @plantsonsunday. Eh, it turns out that from initially buying 1, to more than 20 hahaha, does anyone relate? 😂 Unfortunately not all of them survive. When I moved here last year, I brought some of my old plants here and some I bought new. I put plants in the living room & work room. The decision to care for ornamental plants makes the room more aesthetic & beautiful with natural elements. Because space is limited, I maximize storage of spices and dishes on the built-in kitchen shelves in the apartment unit. Have you ever tried styling calmer colors, but it ended up being colorful again 😂 I make my residence a comfortable place with a colorful touch of my personality. So in every corner of the room, such as the display area, near the window, living room, even a plain room, I still give it a colorful touch without any special dominant color. Before moving into this apartment, I manifested that I wanted to have a music corner in a new place. Slowly it can come true one by one 😇 There are many things that are evident in the process of making this music corner, starting from finding a custom cabinet with an affordable price, then the turntable that I got from winning a giveaway competition 😂 to the Sony mini compo that I bought as a birthday present 2 years ago 🤗 In the process it took about 8 months until it became the music corner I wanted, it took a long time to save up to buy my dream speakers, so before that I was still using Bluetooth speakers 😝 I've always liked collecting cassette tapes with old school songs, so it's perfect to be able to play them on a Sony mini compo which has a minimalist shape and can play CDs too 👍🏻 #midcenturymodern #homedecorinspo #aesthetichomedecor #apartemen #jakarta #sololivingjourney #musiccorner #casadecipop

The first part of moving to a 2 BR apartment was to create a special space for work. I never thought before about having custom furniture, but after living here for 2 months I immediately wanted to have a table cabinet with lots of storage & custom for a turning table inspired by Pinterest 😊 Because space is limited in the apartment, it is wiser to make a custom one that suits the size of this living room. When it comes to choosing items, I'm quite picky and don't want to just buy things. So, the process of making this custom also involved research on Instagram until finally we met @all_kayu which is located in Jepara. The manufacturing process takes around 2 weeks using genuine teak wood.
