Our main bathroom is so girling girlingg 💕 I use 3 different ceramic motifs here: 1) Metro Bevel (wall) 2) Black Hexa (wet floor) 3) Flower Hexa (dry floor) The reasons: to differentiate areas based on function and section. Moreover, it is also a way to save budget, because if it is full hexa ceramic, it is very expensive. Especially "the flower one," its price is calculated per sheet... awesome! So, I tricked it by mixing it like this. 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐢 𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢 𝐔𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐚 𝐝𝐢 #rumahlimut, from being narrow because there are gaps and messy because there are no gaps, to being neater & more comfortable! ✨ This 2x3.2m bathroom transformation is a 𝒎𝙮 𝙙𝒓𝙚𝒂𝙢 𝙗𝒂𝙩𝒉𝙧𝒐𝙤𝒎. With a 𝒕𝙞𝒎𝙚𝒍𝙚𝒔𝙨 𝙘𝒉𝙞𝒄 design, we open the ceiling a little for the 𝙨𝒌𝙮𝒍𝙞𝒈𝙝𝒕 above the sink area so that natural light can enter. This bathroom is accessible from the master bedroom and directly 𝒄𝙤𝒏𝙣𝒆𝙘𝒕𝙚𝒅 through a door to the 𝙬𝒂𝙡𝒌-𝒊𝙣 𝙘𝒍𝙤𝒔𝙚𝒕. The floor & walls are fully up using 120x60cm marble motif granite without removing the old ceramics to cut costs and shorten the 𝙩𝒊𝙢𝒆 𝒇𝙧𝒂𝙢𝒆 work. Specifically for the bathroom area, we differentiate the walls by using 𝒛𝙚𝒍𝙡𝒊𝙜𝒆 𝒕𝙞𝒍𝙚 (Moroccan ceramics) to maintain an “organic” feel. To create a “warm” atmosphere, we chose 𝙨𝒉𝙤𝒘𝙚𝒓, faucets & bidets in 𝙜𝒐𝙡𝒅, several features with brass & silver materials. In our house there are 2 bathrooms, one on the 1st floor and one on the top floor. The downstairs bathroom is usually used for guests who come to the house. 🔅Emergency Bathroom🔅 Due to one reason or another, our main bathroom was renovated into 2. One of them, which is smaller, measuring 100cm x 160cm, is actually intended as an emergency bathroom if the residents of this house have to use the toilet together, especially in the morning. However, for emergencies, even though it is narrow, this bathroom can still be used for bathing. Therefore, we still provide a shower. For the walls, we use marble patterned ceramics measuring 30cm x 60 cm, in gray, and using 2 types, namely plain and checkered. We also use marble patterned ceramics for the floor, black, with a rough/anti-slip surface because it is for the floor, and measuring 30cm x 30cm. For the faucet and shower, we chose stainless steel material so that it is easy to maintain. While the toilet and decorative details we chose white to give a bright impression. According to me, the bathroom built by the developer is quite cute and just like other areas of the house, we haven't renovated this bathroom at all. The addition of a towel rack above the toilet we copied from a hotel room bathroom and we chose a minimalist soap rack made of gray stainless steel to disguise water spots that are certainly difficult to avoid. For soap and shampoo bottles we chose to use brown plastic bottles to make them look like glass bottles. And for the place for toothpaste & toothbrush we used a place made of gray diatomite which has good absorption. To make it look fresh we also added artificial plants on the soap rack.
