The house should be the most comfortable place for us to rest and do any activities. So the design must be in accordance with what we like. I like curved elements, the combination of wood & white, plants as home decoration.
You don't have to follow trends, you don't have to be good just for validation. Whatever the design, style, as long as it makes us happy and comfortable enough, that's it! 😍

There's definitely drama looking for a house, for some reason, when I saw this housing, I immediately fell in love, even though the land area isn't very big at 60/72m, it's enough for us to live and grow together.

There are many changes to this house, of course from the furniture which can be seen starting to fill in.
There is also a change in layout in our kitchen area, with an initial monochrome to Japanese theme.

Of course, before changing the layout, there was a discussion first with my husband, he was the one who made the decision when I was confused about determining the position/theme😅 (is there anything similar or not?)

Besides all that, with what we have now, we are very grateful because we can shelter comfortably and we can organize it according to our wishes..

Looking for a house is like looking for a soulmate. And if it's already a soulmate, believe that the process will be smooth. A soulmate won't run away 🤭
We have a very limited budget, but we have a dream of a house near our parents in Jakarta (within walking distance of less than 10 minutes), which has good access to the city center and supporting facilities. For years, our hobby was opening property websites and walking every weekend to see houses around 🤭
Until finally we met this house which is less than 5 minutes from our parents' house. The price is also right!
The first time we found out this house was for sale from a property website, from an agent who was not actually an agent for the previous owner. Hehe how is that possible.. yes you can answer. And you can imagine how strange our first meeting with the previous owner was. The previous owner thought the agent was our agent, and so did we hehehe..The rest of the story is history. Yes, that's what fate is 😄
So for those who haven't found their perfect home, pray, be patient and try consistently! It is really worth the wait as after that you will spend your life in that home for a loooong time ❤

This house search started about a year before my husband and I got married, namely in 2016. We spent many weekends looking for a house.
Because we didn't feel comfortable, we decided to rent it first. Only in 2018 after we got married we went back to looking for a house.
The house we live in can be said to be a soul mate. Because previously I never imagined I would live in this area. So that afternoon we did a survey and the next day we made a deal.
The purchasing and handover process was also fairly smooth. After occupying this house for 3 years, in 2022 we will carry out renovations.

So our house is a cluster house, in general the layout of our house is still the original one from the developer, there are only a few parts that we changed, namely the kitchen area and the remaining land area at the back which we made into a laundry area.

Hello everyone, in 2019 I found this house that suits my husband and I's wishes, which is 2 floors.
Long story short, this is a developer's house with an area of 84m2 (7x12m) with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
On the original facade, there was only a carport and garden, then I renovated the side garden to make it more multifunctional, I made a floating seat and I added green plants to the back.
Then for the top of the carport, I renovated it from the developer's original, using polycarbonate, I changed it to use a PVC ceiling to avoid leaks in the roof and to make it look more aesthetic.
On the inside of the house, initially the developer's original only went as far as the stairs, then I renovated the remaining back land to be used as a kitchen. And I renovated it to the top for the upper living room and prayer room.
I decorated every room with a Japandi theme to make it look more aesthetic and comfortable.

What does home mean to us??
Home is the most comfortable place to come home to after being tired of facing daily activities. A place where we can exchange ideas, share stories, joys and sorrows and a place to chat with family.
A house that is a witness in facing the harshness of life, and to occupy this house there are many struggles of energy, thoughts and prayers to get it. Hopefully this house can continue to grow and continue to be a witness until the children grow up and a house that children will always miss later 🥰
