If asked what style my house has, I will always answer transitional style. A style that may still sound foreign to many people.
But in short, transitional style is a combination of several interior design styles, including farmhouse, classic, rustic, vintage, etc. This mix of styles makes the room feel less stiff, and the main goal is of course to create a comfortable space but still has an inviting, luxurious impression. In addition, a house with this style aims to get a timeless look, so it can still look relevant even though it's not new anymore. I was very inspired by a design studio called Studio Mcgee, the rooms are always beautiful, luxurious, but not excessive.
Not there yet, but it's okay to hope to be similar ;)

Live Slowly..
The atmosphere at night in our living room and family room area. Living in a cluster house with a standard design from the developer and a narrow living room we can make over by choosing the right furniture. I like furniture colors with neutral and warm tones. The combination of wood and white can make this room feel more spacious and neat. Lighting with warm colors that are appropriate at night creates a romantic, aesthetic and classic impression. Personalized Furniture to Look Different.
I like to change the furniture at home according to my wishes. Some of the furniture is even made by my husband who likes crafting when he has free time. However, I make some of the iron furniture at my trusted welder.
In the living room there are teak chairs, originally painted neutral wood, dark green chair upholstery brought from the shop. I changed it to make the teak chair set look more modern. One chair was painted off white rustic, the single chair was painted dark brown. For the chair upholstery I replaced it with two Different colors, gray and beige. Material is synthetic leather. I will leave the seat installation to @alitahomeid.
I replaced the teak table with a glass table with an iron frame of my own design which was done by a welder near my house with a budget of 600 thousand.
After changing shape and color, the old teak chair set appears in a more modern, eclectic style.

One of the challenges of home growing is: consistency. because there is a "gap" in time to build/renovate, so there will be items that are no longer for sale or midway through changing their minds about the design
For my own home, what helps me to achieve consistency is having "harmonious" decoration/decorations, in this case the dominant color play of black, white and brown in public areas. Then to unite everything, I tried to have a distinctive characteristic, namely a "frame" or wall panel, although the color is different for each room. I think this wall panel is easy to find on e-commerce and the price is also quite affordable for 1 piece of wood, around 8k-9k.

Living Room Decoration.
