Our house has an industrial Japanese theme, and this kitchen is no different.
The use of white materials & warm wood nuances gives a strong Japanese impression. Choosing furniture & kitchen appliances with a consistent black color is expected to give an industrial impression.
This kitchen is also considered compact because of its limited size, but can be maximized to accommodate all kitchen appliances.

We apply a compact residence with a dynamic industrial style to all parts, both the interior and the architecture of the building. The choice of materials and colors was our concern at the beginning before building so that this residence remained bright, had a pattern and was multifunctional. Especially on the first floor area which is the 'heart of life' in our house. Watching, cooking and eating activities together are created in the same area. The current aim is to adapt it to the needs of our family members who still have 2 toddlers, so that it is easier to supervise even though they are doing other activities at the same time.

Types of wood in the house🪵✨ :

We chose a TV table and bed frame with teak wood material which has the highest durability because we plan to store these 2 furniture for a long time.
#2. Pine Wood
Pine wood is used for built-in wardrobes which have lower durability than teak wood but can still be used for long-term use.
#3. Bamboo Wood
For display shelves and shelves, we chose bamboo wood because it tends to be lighter so it is easier to move if you want to redecorate the room.
#4. Rubber Wood
While rubber wood is the material for our dining table. This material tends to be more affordable but has lower durability, we deliberately chose this dining table because its usage period is shorter.

When asked what is the dormitory style?
Honestly, I'm still confused because the dormitory is still the property of the developer's house and here it's only been around for 1 year so it's still in the early stages of the process hihi. In our opinion, asrarumah is more of a minimalist and compact house where this house utilizes and maximizes narrow land by minimizing space requirements by making the space multifunctional ✨ Why is it a narrow land? Yep, because the land area of a house is 50sqm, generally the land area of a house is around 60sqm ✌🏻
The main furniture elements in our dormitory are wood and white, except for the pre-existing items, because if they are still functional, it would be a shame to replace them, hem...don't worry, because we don't have the budget to make them all the same, hihi 😬✌🏻
Apart from that, we try to buy furniture that is multifunctional and flexible. Like a multifunctional TV table, because there is a small table that can be pulled out and can be used as a guest table or any table when needed, then there is a round table and grand chairs that can be folded when not in use ✨
Even though home decor is still a newbie, hopefully it will still provide benefits/inspiration for all of our friends, and we also learn a lot from other home decor friends ✨

• Safe Balcony Ideas for Kids •
Hello O!House friends, the balcony at Himfari's House is located above the carport. It is small in size, around 2x2.2 meters, equipped with a cast seat with a checkered ceramic mosaic finish.
I chose a roof and railing made of tempered glass (hollow iron frame) over other models to minimize the risk of children sticking their hands in and getting caught in the railing.
On the left side there is a fence that connects to the balcony roof and also acts as a supporting structure for the roof. This fence acts as a barrier to prevent children from falling, because children definitely enjoy climbing on cast seats. The grille is made large enough so that the child's hands can go in and out freely without any risk of being pinched.
Children usually have breakfast while playing with cars/bikes on this small balcony.

Our kitchen-dining is in the middle of the house. This aims to unite us homeowners with guests. Because the main activity when guests come is definitely eating or just snacking. We want to give the impression that we welcome guests and let them go. The furniture we use for the kitchen in general is a cooktop, a set of electronic equipment to support cooking activities, and accessories for spices and sweetened with hanging lamps. The seating we use is bar seating, because we have a kitchen island that doubles as a dining table.
