The facade theme of Angka House is in the form of a minimalist cube with a slight contemporary touch on the sloping fence, similar to the Bauhaus style.

We like simplicity which has sufficient functional value for us. Like the holes in between fences for the wind to let in and out, perforated fences have a minimalist impression and do not lose their function as a fence, the box shape has its own aesthetic aspect for us.

I have two other bar stools that are not in this shot. I keep them along a wall that you dont see in this picture. There is no need to have a proper kitchen/dining table in this apartment.

From Bat Nest to Room "with a view"
The balcony area in this room used to be just a "toilet" for bats. Because the house is located near the road, the balcony area of this room gets dusty easily so it ends up being neglected.
Seeing the beautiful view of the garden in front of the house where the trees are getting bigger, I feel it would be a shame if it wasn't used. Finally I decided to renovate this empty room with a balcony. With the help of my sister, who is an interior designer, Aisyah Hanani, I want to expand the room area by just dismantling this balcony area.
The room which was initially dark, finally had 2 new openings made with large windows. One window maximizes the view of the front of the house, while the window on the side is for the AC service area. The position of the windows and layout of my room was helped by my sister who is an interior designer.
However, unfortunately during the work there was a difference in wall thickness between the old room and the balcony. It can be seen from the line accents where the bedroom wall meets the balcony and on the top wall. Because smoothing the walls can take a lot of time, we ended up leaving the imperfections alone.

Welcome to JEAN HOUSE master bedroom! This is my favorite room because it's my bedroom 🥰
I chose a modern minimalist style with a touch of luxury (luxury minimalism). This style gives a clean, neat, and elegant impression. In addition, this style also emphasizes function and practicality, but still provides an elegant touch that makes the room feel comfortable and luxurious.
I applied this style in the master bedroom and wardrobe or walk-in closet. In the bedroom, the combination of neutral colored wall panels, wooden furniture, and the right lighting makes the room feel comfortable and elegant.
The main elements that I used are:
• Materials: Wooden wall panels and a soft fabric-covered headboard that gives texture to the room.
• Furniture: Wooden bedside tables, wardrobes with transparent glass doors, and glass shelves for displaying bags and accessories.
• Decorative items: Red table lamps that provide a touch of color, diffusers, and dried flower vases to beautify the appearance.
To achieve a modern minimalist look with a luxurious feel, here are some tips that I can share:
• Choose a neutral color palette: Neutral colors such as beige, brown, and white give a calm and neat impression.
• Use high-quality materials: Materials such as wood and glass make the room look more elegant.
• Add simple yet iconic decorative touches: Such as unique table lamps or decorative items that have contrasting colors to give character to the room.
• Take advantage of ambient and accent lighting: Hidden lights in cabinets or behind wall panels can create a warm and luxurious atmosphere.
• Minimize unnecessary items: Keep the room neat and functional by not placing too many items, thus creating a spacious and comfortable atmosphere.

Night vibe in the bedroom😴
Actually, every time I went to sleep, I really liked opening the window curtains, then just relying on the lighting from outside with a night light. I love the vibe, it's not scary but it's serene looking at the trees. Especially when I'm chasing a deadline at night, I also like to look at the tree in front of my room, hehe. But unfortunately the garden in front of my room has been cut down so my room "penetrates" to the village in front😭🫵 So now at night the curtains are always closed😔
That's all my story as a resident who is annoyed because the garden in front of the house has been cleared. Even though it used to be so dense that netizens thought I lived in the forest, I'm a Bekasi child😔✊
