This time I want to discuss transparent roofs in the kitchen area. So initially the developer's built-in kitchen was just a straight-line kitchen with a non-deton roof. Because it was felt that it was not enough to accommodate our activities in the kitchen, the kitchen was finally expanded and given an additional canopy roof with hollow steel material and a solarflat roof covering. We use solarflat as a substitute for glass because it is more economical with the same function. Dream Kitchen The size of this kitchen is only 180cm. To maximize limited space, we decided to use a custom kitchen set. The table top in the cooking area uses compressed marble. Meanwhile, the kitchen island uses a solid surface. We differentiated the two table tops to reduce the budget also because we felt the needs in the cooking area and dining area were different. Japandi Kitchen is known for its minimalist, clean kitchen, not many ornaments, including in storing kitchen equipment, it is tried to be hidden 😁 For cooking utensils, eating & drinking utensils, all go into the cabinet, here we still use an open cabinet area, for variety and we still use storage in this open area to make it look clean. Here we use plastic storage with wooden handles, to store cleaning tools and kitchen cleaning materials. Bamboo storage, to store cafe glasses or bowls that are rarely used. Iron basket with wooden handle, to store fruits and snacks. Kitchen Set✨ Measuring 2 meters long, consisting of 4 lower cabinets, 2 upper cabinets and 2 open shelves. We dismantled the table top which was originally made from cast cement from the developer and replaced it with one made from resin. Cabinet made from HPL in dark brown / walnut color. The first lower cabinet is storage for gas cylinders. The second cabinet has drawers for various cutleries, hangers for pans, storage for spices and food containers. then third is the plate and glass rack. The last cabinet under the sink is storage for tools and stock of kitchen cleaning products as well as an organic waste bin. 2 upper cabinets consisting of; 1 cabinet with 2 compartments, for more organized storage which I use to stock snacks and food ingredients such as spices and noodles. then 1 other cabinet without partitions so that it is more spacious for storing oil stock containers or items that are taller in size. It turns out that a compact kitchen set like this is enough for our cooking needs and storing kitchen equipment more neatly. Moreover, with an open shelf, it makes it very easy to take things practically, but forces us to always make it look neat and clean... with adequate storage, we don't need too many things on the table top. Remembering that our kitchen is on the 1st floor, which is open plan, integrated with the living room and is directly visible from the front. ➖ My Dream Kitchen This small kitchen has undergone a makeover 4x in the 8 years we've lived in the house. Before moving in, the kitchen area was very small, there was only a sink and an empty area for draining dishes. It also has the developer's original orange nuance. Then we decided to increase the kitchen counter area to an L and replace the backsplash with the same black granite as the kitchen floor. The area under the kitchen table still uses under curtains and a shelf is added to store kitchen spices. (Slide 3) After 4 years, we started adding kitchen cabinets to make it look neater, and installed vinyl floor carpet so it wasn't monotonous. (Slide 2) Now, after joining O!
