Hi, meet again with the Open Space kitchen & dining area at @first21.haus which is directly connected to our Living room. This time with a night vibes shot, this is the atmosphere of a cloudy and rainy night all day accompanying our evening activities.
Because without a partition, the room feels more spacious for mobility to cook and eat at the dining table while watching a movie on TV. It is also freer to arrange the interior and decoration as you wish. And to make it even more spacious, there is a sliding door of aluminum glass with a wood motif that leads to the back garden, this really helps air circulation when cooking and cross ventilation from front to back. However, when it rains like this, we close the sliding door so that it doesn't splash in.

Kitchen & Dining Area at Livin's Home ✨
When the house was first handed over, it wasn't actually this long, the length of the house was actually only as long as the sofa (just to give you an idea! 😆). But I took advantage of it by renovating it so that there would be space for the dining room and kitchen.
I also installed a glass door divider from the kitchen and dining room area so that there would still be a closed space (so it wouldn't smell like cooking 😅), but actually this is flexible! You can open and close the door whenever needed, especially if there is a family event 😉👌🏻

The open area in my house starts from the living room, dining room and kitchen in an L shape and is not just a line.
The first slide was taken from the corner of the living room, so that only the dining room and part of the kitchen are visible.
The open space area makes the room look more spacious and not cramped.
The lighting in the dining room and kitchen is very sufficient even without turning on the lights, because these two areas are directly connected to the side garden which can be directly accessed from the dining room. With fairly large doors and windows, during the day the lighting is very good, as seen in the 3rd slide.

A room without partitions combining the kitchen and dining room feels warmer and more functional. With a kitchen area of 3 meters x 1 meter and a minimal dining room area, it maximizes the available space.
The open space concept in our house is not only in the kitchen and dining room but can be seen from the living room and multipurpose room.
The choice of white for house paint, kitchen sets, floor tiles and furniture is the main color choice, but we are starting to look at a combination of bright colors (pop colors) for sofas, hanging lamps, sofa cushions, etc. So that the room is brighter and more cheerful.
As a small family, we are still satisfied with a small dining table and 2 dining chairs, for that we only need a small space in front of the kitchen which is also combined with a multipurpose room.
