Dining Room 🍽️
We set the open space dining room together with the mini kitchen in a warmer setting, dominated by dark brown wood. We filled it with a glossy coated tamarind wood table with a few holes to make it look natural. Actually, we ordered a length of 60cm so that the room would be more spacious, but after it was finished, it turned out that there was an excess of 10cm, but it didn't matter as long as it was easy to move to the kitchen, toilet and to the back garden.
We deliberately customized the stainless rattan wooden chair that we bought at the marketplace with Oscar foam and camel color (brown-orange) so that it looks fresher and not monotonous. This dining table is not only comfortable for eating but is also often used for sitting and working with a laptop/ipad because you can directly enjoy the green garden.
Don't forget, there is a coffee spot on the iron wood console table which we customized to suit your storage needs for placing basket boxes and rice containers. So that things can be arranged more neatly. On top of that we added more colorful decorations such as glass cups, vases, posters and acrylic shelves but still in keeping with the colors of the midcentury modern style. Hopefully you don't get bored of visiting, online neighbors 😉🙏

• Favorite Room in the House •
Hello, O!House friends, the dining room is still my favorite room because here I can do many things from eating, watching on my tablet to working on my laptop.

As soon as you open the main door you can immediately see a cafe-style mini bar. Having this mini bar is one of my wishlist. Apart from functioning as a cafe-style dining area, it also acts as a barrier between the kitchen and living room. It's simple but the function is so real.
This table is made of concrete with a height of 100cm, a width of 40cm and a length of 280cm, paired with black granite combined with teak wood bar chairs so it looks more minimalist. Hopefully it can be an inspiration for those whose houses are small but still want to have a special place to eat like me.

In the dining room edition to welcome Eid al-Fitr, I usually add electric candle decorations to add a calming holiday vibe.
The Eid al-Fitr holiday cannot be separated from Eid cakes of course, so to make it neat and organized, I used a woven water hyacinth tray to place the Eid cakes. So it's neater and more aesthetic, right?! 😊
The last important thing that should not be missed is fragrance. I added a reed diffuser, scented candle and a vase filled with fresh flowers which I usually buy on the 1st day of the holidays. So the room is not only beautiful, it also smells good and is comfortable to complement holiday moments with the family.

My dining area is one of my happy places at home 🍽️ I love eating here while watching my favorite shows on my phone. The small frame above the table reminds me of a cozy cafe I visited in Taiwan.
