The style of this living room is more boho Scandinavian with white walls and natural furniture such as rattan and terracotta vases and bamboo hanging lamps. Adding plants and flowers makes the room more beautiful. The sofa that I use is Scandinavian style, bluish gray, adding calm to this room. To add ambiance I used 4 types of lights, ceiling lights, hanging lights, floor lights and indirect lighting. You can see the difference on each slide. I got all the decorations in this living room from offline, online stores and there are DIY results. Hopefully it will inspire friends 😊

Inline japandi kitchen
Hi online neighbors, don't ever get bored looking at my in-line kitchen. because it's in line so it's more or less like this.
My in-line kitchen is attached to the wall at the back of the house. Why ? because I want to maximize the middle side of the house to be used as a dining room. and for lighting in my kitchen, this is very sufficient, in the morning and afternoon I don't need to provide lighting from lamps, because sunlight will come in from the skylight that I made above the laundry room and this is enough to brighten up my kitchen area. For air circulation, because my house is attached to the right, front and back of the neighbor, so I made a metal door near the skylight so that air can come in and out from there.
There aren't too many choices of furniture in the in-line kitchen either. To store electronic equipment and spices, I use an Ivar shelf made of wood. Apart from being minimalist, this shelf also adds a Japanese impression.
My tips for layout of the stove should not be close to the refrigerator. because it can damage the performance of the refrigerator due to the heat from the stove💕

A 1-story house feels like 2 floors 🤍 yaapps….this house was built with a 1-story building with a fairly high ceiling, so we decided to increase the area by making a mezzanine. The inspiration for this Mezzanine was obtained from Pinterest, then we gave it to the craftsman to make it exactly like the example we gave. In making the Mezzanine we used journeyman craftsmen who are professionals in the interior field, so the final result was exactly what we wanted even though we had a low budget but the results were very satisfying 🥰

The kitchen is in a limited area of around 2x2 meters which we finally emptied out a number of items to make it more spacious ✨
Initially the area near the sink contained a washing machine, which we then moved to the back area. This area finally became a dispenser 💦
To make this kitchen area look more spacious, we used a bright color palette on a number of decoration items, starting from a white backsplash, natural brown wooden table top, yellow-orange pendant lamps, and pastel blue wall panels 🩵💛🤍

Hi...A little story about the table in this living room. The original table top was white. So, because the children often draw on this table, the table is full of children's creativity, lots of marker stains that are difficult to clean. So that this table can still be used and is beautiful again, I made over the table using PVC film with Sonoma Oak motif from Kertasiv. After the makeover, the table is beautiful and clean again.

This is the Skylight in de Mahendra's house
Our house was renovated, built from scratch using the services of an architect.
We chose to use the services of an architect because we wanted all our space needs to be maximized even though our house had limited land. One of them is that we want the house to have a skylight so that sunlight can enter the house, so that the lighting in the house is good and looks aesthetic.
Skylights in the house are installed above the stairs so that there is no need to turn on the lights during the day, and they do not interfere with activities in the house.
The architect who helped me in the process of designing the house and supervising the renovation work used the services of Agung Nugroho Architect.
When choosing an architect I consider the price according to my capabilities, then references from friends and direct surveys of houses that have been built.
Hopefully friends can be inspired and consider before choosing the right architectural services according to their needs.

When renovating a house, of course one of the most important aspects is lighting. Including bathroom lighting, we think carefully. In this bathroom, we used a main light with a warm white color. To make it dramatic and add aesthetics, we added a large rattan hanging lamp with a diameter of 50 cm to attract attention because it is located right above the bathtub. We used a yellow bulb. And on the sink mirror we use warm white LED stripe lights. You can see in the photo the difference in ambiance when the main light is turned on or just using the hanging lamp and sink light. We made parallel switches for the hanging lamp and sink.

Our house was inspired by the Muji House, from its square facade, and we chose light wood colored furniture like Japanese houses, also not many items (clean), we call the theme of the house Japanese minimalist house inspired by Muji House.
