This is the master bedroom in #rumahlimut. Size: 5x5 meters.
The white duco paint vertical shiplap accent on this wall uses multiplex material and has been installed since the renovation in 2017.
Our bedroom floor uses wooden parquet with a dark brown tone to contrast with the all-white wall color.
This room can be accessed from 3 areas, namely: family room, ๐ฌ๐๐ก๐-๐๐ฃ ๐๐๐ค๐๐๐ and hallway ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐.
For access to the skylight hallway area, we installed a sliding UPVC door and window equipped with 80% blackout curtains for privacy & reducing incoming light if it is too bright.
In order for the bedroom to be maximally comfortable, we pay close attention to the following things:
1. ๐๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ก๐๐ง ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ/๐๐๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ฌ
* Choose the right type based on comfort preferences and needs. We always try the mattresses we are going to buy.
* We also add a mattress protector so that the mattress does not get dirty or damaged quickly. We can wash this bed protector regularly.
2. ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฅ & ๐๐๐ก๐๐ค๐ ๐ท๐ง๐๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ค๐
* We equip pillows with pillow protectors to keep them safe from direct contact with various allergy triggers.
* Bolster pillows in #rumahlimut are a must, because I am especially used to sleeping in a position hugging a bolster ๐.
* ๐๐๐ง๐๐ฌ ๐๐๐ก๐๐ค๐ as decoration to make it beautiful to look at.

* Because the temperature in Jakarta is quite hot, installing sheets in #rumahlimut does not require multi-layered bedding, it only consists of:

โ ๏ธ The bed faces a TV mounted above the TV stand with a red brick-designed TV stand for an organic/simple feel. โ ๏ธ There is also a small bench at the end of the bed, we use it as a storage area for prayer equipment
โ ๏ธ A ๐ญ๐ง๐๐ฃ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ง as a decorative accent as well as an additional seating area.
โ ๏ธ A pastel green cabinet in the corner of the room we use as a storage area for important documents.

This room is 3x3m in size which we definitely make comfortable even though it is small, because this is the main room we make sure the size fits this space by adding a custom bed and wardrobe, before filling this room we make sure to measure the items to be purchased before installing them in this room.

Actually, this is a 2-story shophouse, the 2nd floor of which was just completed 1 year ago.
Similar to shophouses in general, the 1st floor is used for business and the 2nd floor is for residence.
So in 2023 we started building the 2nd floor which really took into account the concept and design according to our wishes.
Each room really thought out the concept. But, actually this house is not 100% ready. We built this house in stages, so for now there are still empty rooms and incomplete furniture.
