Facade 🏡
We make the developer's default facade as functional as possible. Because it's only enough for 1 car. We cut part of the garden for motorbike parking space.
Our garden is filled with red horsetail alang, calathea and araucaria pine as well as white rocks and elephant grass to beautify the facade to differentiate our house from the neighboring houses in one uniform block 😁
When photographing the facade at night, the shadows of the hanging lights will be visible from outside, creating its own aesthetic. Because we often deliberately don't close the wooden blinds on our house windows completely, only partially when we need air or light from outside, but we can still maintain privacy from inside the house.

Scandinavian mini house facade inspiration.
In our opinion, the 7 m wide house facade is a size that is less than ideal for making the Scandinavian facade that we dream of. Considering the limited land, we made the gable roof too high and tapered, so it is often mistaken for a 2-story house. As a suggestion for those who are going to build a house, make a more mature design so that you can create a house that suits your wishes but is still on budget.

This tiny 44m2 house still maintains its bold theme, which 9 years ago was the developer's original cream and orange color.
We only changed the appearance a little with DIY, we haven't renovated it in a big way. Hopefully later there will be fortune to change the shape of the facade and add a 2nd floor.

Condition of the facade at night & evening during drizzling rain.
Currently, the main area of the facade is dominated by vegetation elements, namely papyrus.
This plant is an aquatic plant that requires a lot of water and humid air. At first we only planted 5 plants and were actually still trying because we were afraid they would die/were not suited to the air on a fairly hot day.
However, unexpectedly, the plants grew so much that they almost covered the facade area even though it had been tidied many times.
It turns out that maintenance is quite easy with watering twice a day.

The activity he does every morning is watering the plants in front of the house. This activity is one of his favorite activities, because he cares for the plants.
For the plants in this awhouse, we use Ketapang Kencana which has been bonsai so this plant will no longer grow tall, like Ketapang Kencana with large roots.
and after watering the plants, I usually sit on the terrace while drinking a cup of coffee. This spot is also one of my favorite spots in this house.
