Hi Everyone,
The facade of our house is semi-industrial, because we like the minimalist concept.
We combine white and cement gray on the facade, use perforated iron plates on the balcony area, and also add wooden elements to the lattice and fence areas.
And for the roof shape, we chose a flat roof to give a minimalist impression. And only one side we customized into a triangle, to make it more dimensional.

This is the first time I publish this area👋
Honestly, I'm not really confident to publish this, but it's okay because I think it's pretty neat like this. This area is the most messy because we don't have a warehouse yet, so we store almost all our stuff in the garage. As a result, it looks really stuffy huhu. I highly recommend to neighbors who are building a house to add 1 special room for a warehouse, because even though we often declutter, it still doesn't mean we don't need a warehouse. It's better to anticipate than to be confused later😅

Scandinavian style house facade.
This facade is inspired by houses in several European countries that have quite distinctive shapes, namely triangular lines. With the limited width of the house which is only 7 meters, the triangular facade is made higher so that it still looks like it fits the high fence. The choice of cream, white, black, and several natural accents such as plants and wood adds to the 'scandinavian' impression.

The story of finding "home".
Honestly, this house is a gift from both parents. They gave us the freedom to choose where we would live, so we also decided on the location. Likewise with the model or shape of the house, everything was left entirely up to us. We participated in determining the number of rooms, the facade model, the layout, and even the paint color. Building this house did not feel as much of a struggle as building a house with our own sweat, but because this was a gift, we feel that this house is more special, especially from our parents❤️
