The stairs in our house are floating stairs. The side handrail has a minimalist frame from the developer, so we added glass to make it safer. Because of their floating design, it would be a shame to place cabinets or closets under the stairs, as it would cover the shape of the steps. Initially, the steps were covered with Conwood decorative stair decking, but over time, the top layer of the Conwood peeled due to friction and water.
