โข RFL House โข
This time I want to show several rooms in my house, so that I can give you a little idea about RFL House as a whole.
Our main reason for designing this house is, we want an ideal house for us, namely a house that is simple and comfortable. The definition of a comfortable house for us is a cool house with good air circulation & quality, so you can see there are lots of openings in this RFL House.
After living in this house too, we changed one of the rooms in our house, which was previously our second child's room, but now we function it as a hobby room & home office.
Here I will also share some of the items that I use to decorate my house to make it feel comfortable. Hopefully it's useful ๐๐ป๐

Shoe Cabinet in the Foyer โจ
Where do you keep your shoe cabinet?
So far, I feel that it is most suitable to keep a shoe cabinet in the foyer in the living room area, so when you get home โ the shoes go straight into the cabinet, and when you want to leave the house, you take the shoes close to the exit of the house
Moreover, nowadays the design of shoe cabinets is good, I choose a closed one so that it is neat, even though it is in the foyer, it is not visible that this is a shoe cabinet, even above it you can still store decorations
This shoe cabinet has dimensions of
120cm long โ 40cm high โ 45cm wide, fits up to 12 pairs of shoes
There are already air holes so it won't be damp

At @zenhouse.id, the foyer is the main attraction of our house. The first impression you get when you enter the house is homey and warm. With natural lighting from the transparent roof, it adds to the beautiful impression. We also deliberately put a shoe rack and bench that are used when people take off or put on shoes. The asymmetrical shape of the foyer as well as the geometric play make our foyer even more special!
Don't forget to do a final check of your appearance in our aesthetic mirror. Make sure before you go out your appearance is perfect and ready to face the day with a happy heart!

As soon as you open the door, you are immediately greeted by this area. Yes, we designed this foyer as a starting point that gives a very warm & mid-century vibe to guests who come (and also to ourselves when we return home).
โจ The wooden slat wall was deliberately made to stand out โ not only as a visual statement, but also to add privacy. So, the view from the entrance does not directly penetrate the family room. It is calmer, more organized.
โจ This table is multifunctional: not just a console, but also a hidden shoe rack. Keeps the area tidy without sacrificing function.
โจ There is a round backlit mirror for quick touch-ups before leaving the house, and some functional decorations such as a key bowl & diffuser for a fresh scent.
โจ Don't forget to also have green plants so that when you enter the house it immediately feels alive and cool.

This is the first area you see when you enter the house. Because it is an entry and exit area of the house, there are several important items that should be in the foyer area.

First, the mirror, in the foyer area there is a solid wooden round mirror, which not only functions as decoration but also to ensure we are tidy when we leave the house.

Second, the shoe rack, to make it easier, the shoe rack should be stored in the foyer area.
โ
Third, the shelf, apart from being a place to store decorations so that the room looks prettier, this shelf also functions as storage for vehicle keys, so when you get home, the keys are placed on the shelf, and when you leave you won't have any trouble finding them.

When our house @zenhouse.id was finished, the interior was not yet fully finished. That's why we call @zenhouse.id a growing house.
Starting from the foyer area, the first photo was taken in the first week we occupied it, June 2024.
We took the second photo 2 weeks ago. It has started to be filled with shoe racks & benches that can be used to put on and take off shoes. Then the most fun thing, when we went to Informa, we found a mirror that was the same color tone as the house. Happyyyy๐๐๐
Continuing the third photo, the mirror in the bathroom could initially be lit but 24/7. So to save money, we replaced the mirror with an LED touch screen๐ฅฐ in terms of shape, it's different, you can check it on slide 4, @zenhouse.id family.
Then we also rearranged the main room, which was originally still without glass and simple, so there were additional wooden accents and a full-body mirror. The presence of this mirror makes the room look more spacious๐
Then for the front area of the closet, which was originally a plain wall, we allocated it as a storage place for Ghaizan and his toy box. This is one of our ways to make Ghaizan feel "belongs to this house" because there is a separate section for his things๐ค๐ซถ๐ป
Next, God willing, we will start focusing on the innercourt area, family room, laundry area, and mini garden near the carport. Pray that there will be sustenance to immediately beautify our house, family @zenhouse.idโจ
