As soon as you open the door, you are immediately greeted by this area. Yes, we designed this foyer as a starting point that gives a very warm & mid-century vibe to guests who come (and also to ourselves when we return home).
✨ The wooden slat wall was deliberately made to stand out — not only as a visual statement, but also to add privacy. So, the view from the entrance does not directly penetrate the family room. It is calmer, more organized.
✨ This table is multifunctional: not just a console, but also a hidden shoe rack. Keeps the area tidy without sacrificing function.
✨ There is a round backlit mirror for quick touch-ups before leaving the house, and some functional decorations such as a key bowl & diffuser for a fresh scent.
✨ Don't forget to also have green plants so that when you enter the house it immediately feels alive and cool.

In our opinion, having a mirror in the foyer area is very important. When we want to leave the house we can look in the mirror again without having to go back and forth to the room. And we also chose a drawer with 6 dark brown drawers as additional storage and maybe in the future we will make it black hehe.

This area is the first area found when entering the house. Our living room is 3*4 m and this foyer is located at the entrance combined with the living room. This area is equipped with a large shoe rack to fit lots of shoes, a rattan chest box for storing sports equipment and several backpacks and a large full-body mirror. The decoration itself is all rattan and wood because we like natural elements in various corners of this area.
