✨Genkan Ala-ala Actually, genkan is an area before the entrance, a place to take off shoes before entering the main room. But because our house concept is open space, after the entrance, we go straight to the living room. Finally, we put the area to take off shoes on both sides of the entrance. There is a shoe rack & shoe bench to make it easier to put on shoes. We didn't forget to add a wall shelf to put the vehicle keys. 🌿🍀 Our Outdoor Garden🍃 Even though the size of our house is limited, we still want to have a garden that we can use to gather with our family. Finally we agreed to have 2 small gardens, one in the indoor area and one in front of the house. For both parks, our choice fell on the dry park which is more low maintenance. This front garden area is somewhat unique because it has 2 stair access. 1 side staircase that goes directly to the garage area and another staircase that goes directly to the front of the house. To light the garden area we also use Solar Lamps, sometimes we show the conditions at night. ✨Small Foyer We tried to make the area near the door of the house more functional by making a foyer. This area makes it easier when going out of the house. ✨Genkan Hello, inspired by the genkan area in the Japanese house, this time I changed the appearance of the Living Room area by adding a shoe rack next to the entrance. Previously I kept this shoe rack next to my work desk, but for mobility reasons I finally moved it near the entrance in the hope that my shoes would be better organized.
