This sofa is great because it makes the room look bigger, but it might not suit my body, so I'll go look at sofas tomorrow.

In stark contrast to the apparel shop-like space, the living room was designed with a simple, modern feel.
I wanted a modern and symbolic lighting space, so I installed a ceiling light by Serge Mouille from IDEE.
I looked elsewhere, but most of these modern lights tended to be high-end, like those in high-rise apartments, so this was the only choice I had.
I like the structured design of the sofa, so I bought a 2-seater FSB model from Tres the Sofa Tailor.
I was also considering the SIESTA flannel sofa, but the seat of Tres' FSB is deeper, so there is more than enough room for two people to lie down, and I liked the cushioning, so I went with this one.
I'm still using the side table, the now-discontinued K24 by Tekta, which I've been using since I was at my parents' house.
The current model, K26, has a very similar shape, so if you're interested, please search for that.
Speaking of creating space,
I wanted to use it in a way that would make the space feel as spacious as possible, so I kept things to a minimum as much as possible.
However, this makes it look a little bleak, so I hung Hatano Wataru's washi paper as art on the walls.
It's only attached with a clay-like "sticky bug," so only the natural thickness of the washi paper adds to the space.
I feel like that alone makes it feel a bit like a gallery, and maybe even overseas?
Another important point is that I placed the sofa away from the wall.
If you place the sofa against the wall, it gives the impression that you are approaching the wall when you approach the sofa.
So, by placing the sofa away from the wall, you don't feel the pressure of facing the wall, and it feels more spacious.

Starting in my living room!
The TV stand is a Besto from IKEA. It's 2400mm wide and I'm using it as a TV stand for my 55-inch TV.
The two middle blocks are from the same TV stand series, with a weight capacity of 50kg, to accommodate the weight of the TV. The sides are simply standard types with a weight capacity of 20kg, so they can be used separately if the purpose changes, which is convenient!

My favorite space in the renovation.
A 45-degree corridor leads from the earthen floor entrance to the living room.
I like how the ceiling beams are angled diagonally.
The chair you see in the back is a vintage postmodern design chair purchased at WE ARE WELCOME.
The IDEE Molecule Lamp adds a gentle touch of color.
