I redecorated the bedroom a little.
The main items, the bedspread and pillowcases, are from PAMM (@pammofficial / @good_eighty_percent), selected by my son. I bought them at ACTUS. I'll continue using these.
The rest of the room is an IKEA-only challenge!
The pendant light is an IKEA RISBYN, and I DIYed the wooden part with masking tape to make it black.
I wonder if I should have made the cord black too?
I wanted a Tolomeo desk lamp, but I went with a FORSA instead, and it looks even cooler than I imagined, so I love it.
The TROFAST storage box I'm using as a side table is temporary, but the size is surprisingly good.
Also, I've added a Switchbot light bulb, so I can now control it with Alexa voice commands!
I plan to make a few more updates.

Easy DIY for the popular mug shelf using the Ikea Motte Drawers! I took out all the drawers, cut the back of the board to make it less deep and used the spare wood to make the little notches. I started journaling after randomly picking up a book about bullet journaling. I kept it simple and wrote a little each day—and over time, the collection just grew. I still remember starting my very first journal in January 2020, then just a few months later, the world shifted with COVID. As spent more time at home, journaling became something that really grounded me. Now it’s 2025, and I’m still writing. These journals hold years of quiet thoughts, memories, and daily life—seeing them all lined up brings such a calm and grateful feeling.

No nails, no damage — just stick & hang. I used IKEA’s ALFTA adhesive hook to hang frames without messing up the walls, and when you want to remove it, just pull the tab to stretch the tape and it comes right off — super renter-friendly!
