Kitchen and dining room with an open space concept! 📸
The rearmost area of our house is the dining area which is also integrated with the kitchen. Although the concept of our house is open space, we separate the family room area from the kitchen area using a sliding door. The reason is simple, to emphasize the room and also when cooking activities the smell of cooking does not spread too much to all parts of the house.
The kitchen area is made open space to make it easier to cook and eat together, because it is next to each other in my opinion it is more effective.

Since the beginning of designing the house, we really wanted to place the kitchen as a place that is integrated with the family room. So cooking activities can still be done while gathering. Therefore, we designed the kitchen to be equipped with a kitchen island. This is one of the focal points. Apart from being a place to serve food, it can also be used as a preparation place before cooking. To keep the kitchen tidy, we have prepared lots of closed storage spaces, so everything is in its place without being seen.
