Prayer room ✨🕌 A simple prayer room, originally this room was converted into a prayer room because we didn't have a prayer room. This prayer room is located next to the main room. Access to this prayer room can be done directly from the room or from the family room. There is also a storage area for Islamic books and the Koran. Mini Mihrab 🤲🏻 With simple and essential decoration, but very sufficient for our worship needs. It's so small, this mihrab/prayer room only fits 2 people. A little story, actually, in the initial design of the mihrab, this mihrab was quite large (uk 2x2m) but during the renovation process the result was super small (1.5x2m). Lesson learned, make sure you always measure and check before the walls are bricked up, and most importantly, use qualified craftsmen. As a Muslim family, of course we want to have a special place that is comfortable and beautiful to worship, so when building Casa de Likan, we made a prayer room/prayer room above the warehouse in the back garden, with a beautiful design, beautiful garden views and comfortable Bandung air, we always enjoy praying time in this prayer room. For ablution, we use the garden lamppost as a place for the ablution tap, so it doesn't look like just a tap, and so that it doesn't get muddy and dirty, we store white natural stones whose water will later be absorbed directly into the ground. Inspiration for a prayer room in the house The room area is 3.6 x 2.8m (not full, because the area is sloping). Initially, this room was almost unused, only used for transit of goods and even bicycles. In order for this room to be more functional, we decided to makeover it into a comfortable prayer room.
