Japandi Industrial on limited land
At first we liked the industrial style. We like the masculine appearance of the design and also seem timeless. But we didn't want a style that was too stiff and cold. We wanted to maintain a warm element so we combined an industrial style with wooden accents and white. Finally, we called our house style Japandi Industrial.
The industrial accent in our home can be seen from:
1. Void chandelier
2. Floating staircase design
3. Bondex ceiling above the kitchen
4. Black furniture, equipment and decorations
5. Granite Tiles are light gray in color.
Meanwhile, the Japanese accent can be seen from:
1. Mezzanine grille made of solid wood
2. Stair steps made of solid wood
3. Natural wood colored kitchen set with grille accents
4. White & wood colored furniture.
5. Natural wood colored decoration.

This linear kitchen has an industrial Japanesedi style, which fits the theme of our house. It is located in an open space area, which is integrated with the dining set and living room. The size is only 4 m, but contains all kitchen appliances.
We deliberately didn't put many decoration items, because we wanted this kitchen to still look minimalist, clean and elegant.
We also added green plants to make the kitchen and dining set seem fresher.

Dream Kitchen
The size of this kitchen is only 180cm. To maximize limited space, we decided to use a custom kitchen set.
The table top in the cooking area uses compressed marble. Meanwhile, the kitchen island uses a solid surface. We differentiated the two table tops to reduce the budget also because we felt the needs in the cooking area and dining area were different. For color/pattern, we prefer plain white to give a clean impression and we think this is one of our best decisions🥰.

Welcome to a little corner full of stories! 🌿
This foyer and staircase area is a statement in itself in our home. With a combination of warm wood on the stair treads, combined with simple yet elegant exposed cement, the end result? Modern-industrial that is pleasing to the eye. ✨
The vintage wooden console table with rattan weaving in this foyer is not only a sweetener, but also functions to organize small items so they don't get messy. And if there are guests, they are immediately greeted with a Van Gogh painting that is a favorite in the house! The art is there, the aesthetics are there.
Small details such as warm lights on the stairs also make the atmosphere warmer and more aesthetic, especially at night. The point is, just entering the house makes your heart calm.

This is the atmosphere at night in the open space area that we implemented.
The Kitchen Set, Dining Set and Living Room become one quite large room measuring 6 x 4 m.
There are spotlights in every corner of the room, LED strips in the kitchen set, hanging lights in the dining set and standing lamps in the living room, making the night atmosphere seem warmer.
We chose this Japanesedi industrial kitchen set because it matches the concept of the house. Its linear and compact shape makes the room seem neater and more spacious.
The choice of HPL material in white & natural brown is to bring out the Japanese element. For kitchen appliances, we decided to consistently choose black or at least a little black, so that the industrial Japandi concept can still be felt in this kitchen set.

✨ Mini Pantry/ Multipurpose Room
Actually, it is difficult to define this room because its function is versatile. Initially this room functioned as a pantry where all kitchen necessities were stored. But as we get here, its function increases. Now also as a laundry storage area and relaxing area.
We put our favorite sofa here. This is actually an old sofa, but because of its historical value and good condition, we are still keeping it.

The most comfortable relaxing spot for wfh. Using a lounge chair & soft pillows is very helpful for me as an elderly person. Comfortable & doesn't get gout quickly, sis. The table is also unique. Styling with a rustic theme in an industrial corner turns out to be okay too. Does anyone have the same opinion?

In our opinion, the most aesthetic room in #rumahmaknaa is this mini foyer area.
A credenza with a Japanese design and a round mirror are the focal points of this area. We added decorations with white, wood, black and green tones. In choosing decorations, apart from paying attention to appearance, we also consider function because we want our decoration items to be not only beautiful but also functional.

Kitchen Style 🤍
Since we first started building the kitchen, we were interested in using dark colored cabinets. The dark gray color we finally chose to make the kitchen bottom cabinets (we built the kitchen in stages). At that time, we were inspired by industrial style kitchens.
However, as time goes by. There is a desire to add a grille accent to the kitchen cabinet. At first we were confused about whether we wanted white and dark gray or wood color. After considering it, we wanted an industrial kitchen but still with a warm impression. Finally, we decided to combine dark gray with natural wood motifs.
The lattice accents and natural wood motifs are reminiscent of the Japanese style, so we call our kitchen a mix of Japandi Industrial style, hehe. To strengthen this style, we always choose decoration items/items with similar tones. Black, dark grey, natural wood and white are always choices. To make it more lively, I also added green color from artificial plants or real plants 🤍

Our house has an industrial Japanese theme, and this kitchen is no different.

Our house is on a hook land flanked by 2 roads in this housing complex, so our house seems to have 3 facades, namely the front view, the side view and the back view.
The front facade of our house is greatly influenced by the service room at the front of the house. So we use different and more attractive service room materials. The combination of attached brick and unfinished roster as well as sliding doors with sliding iron, really gives an industrial impression.
The facade is also dominated by black, both for the color of the hollow iron and also the exterior paint on the outside walls of the house.
This house also looks like a 1-story building, even though we have a mezzanine floor inside

Minimalist Main Door Inspiration ✨
The main door of this house is made of samarinda camphor wood material. The size is 90 x 240 cm.
Made with a minimalist symmetrical water rope motif, making this door look like a touch of Japandi style.
We also use a smart door for the main door handle.

This room with an open space concept is one of our favorite rooms in this house.
The living room, dining set & kitchen set combined make this area feel very spacious.
The place we usually gather, play, chat, eat & cook together.
We are filling this room slowly. We reuse old furniture that is still in good condition, such as this blue sofa which is a witness to the changes in this house. We bought it from the moment we lived in this house, until the house was finally renovated, this blue sofa is still durable & good to use.
We also used the area under the stairs to place the TV cabinet.
The TV cabinet that we deliberately chose is one that matches the colors & vibes in this room.
The addition of a standing lamp next to it also makes a more aesthetic impression.
The presence of a ceiling fan makes this room feel cool during the day and night.
So there is no need to add air conditioning for a room this large.
Diningset is also our favorite. This Japanese style dining set makes the room feel warmer. We like to gather, chat while enjoying snacks here.

Our minimalist home requires us to utilize the available space so that it can be useful. One of them is this TV Corner.
We utilize the area under the stairs to place a TV and several other simple decorative items as decoration.
