Under Stairs Storage Cabinet ✨
✨We decided to make a cabinet under the stairs. Previously it was only covered with a bookshelf and its function was to store a refrigerator, shoe rack, broom equipment, a warehouse for stock items such as plastic tissues, etc. Another consideration is because sometimes my male cat likes to pee there and likes to mess up things. 😿

✨Because we wanted to experiment with colors, which are usually just wood motifs, this is the color we chose for Hpl with a matte finish, namely green + terracotta. The color that we feel is still natural & earthtone is also still in harmony with other home decorations such as terracotta pots, terracotta bean bags and green leaf colors.
✨Green for the door of the warehouse cabinet & refrigerator cabinet, then terracotta for the open compartment and Hpl edging. The purpose of making this open compartment is so that we can put decorative items. So far we like it because it adds a color accent to the living room.

Living in a house with a minimalist concept made us look for placement and layout tips so that everything could be placed neatly and strategically.
We use the area under the stairs as a 'warehouse' for storing frequently and rarely used items and also as a television backdrop.
With the limited size, we chose to use an interior service to custom make the cabinet under our stairs so that the size was more fitting and suited our needs.
Finally we got a vendor that suited our budget and the quality we needed from our close relatives.
That's where our under stairs cabinets started...

‼️ Utilizing & Maximizing the Space Under the Stairs
Because the land in the casadeharsa house is very limited, where the building is only built on 60m2 of land, we also have to utilize the land under the stairs for a warehouse and bathroom with a camouflage door. Although the size of the warehouse and bathroom is mini, we designed both spaces so that the function of both spaces remains optimal.

Utilizing the space under the stairs! We maximize the space under the stairs for storing kitchen tools and kitchen appliances. The items are arranged and not messy. For the selection of HPL, we use Aica with a choco color, and combine it with wood elements for the interior finishing. We choose the same tone in black for our kitchen appliances.
