Let's talk about the stairs in our house! In this small house, there are two stairs. One goes to the 2nd floor and the other to the 3rd floor. The fun thing is, these two stairs use different materials! We chose permanent cement for the first staircase, so that the area below it can be used for cabinets. While the second staircase uses iron, so that light from the skylight can penetrate to the area below. Because of the limited space, the staircase design is made in a U-shape. Although the materials are different, the design remains uniform, so it looks harmonious. To maximize light, we added a skylight above the 3rd floor. So, from morning to afternoon you can enjoy the sunlight, and at night you can peek at the stars from there. What do you think? Multifunctional Minimalist Stairs 🫶🏻 These stairs are access to the laundry room and warehouse. With a very small size because it was provided by the developer, but we chose the ceramic floor ourselves. Because these stairs are made of concrete, we also use the area below as a storage area. To make it look neat, a full cabinet is made with block board material coated with wood motif HPL. For the stair railing, it is made of hollow iron in the form of a pipe with a curved/arch model so that it is not monotonous.
