A small room but still comfortable and playful! πΏπ¨
It's only 2.2 x 3 meters, but it still feels spacious and comfortable! A bed without a bed frame actually makes the room more flexible and safe for your little one (even though I don't have the budget to buy a bed frame yet). Plus a farm mural that makes the atmosphere even more cheerful, like being in a fairy tale world! ππ
π Tips for making a small room still cozy:
β Choose soft & neutral colors - Pastel green wall colors make the room feel calm and not stuffy.
β Use open shelves - Keep books and toys neat without making the room feel full.
β Use rainbow blinds to be more practical - Compared to curtains, rainbow blinds are simpler, don't easily become a nest for dust, and are still comfortable for little ones.

Children's room measuring 3x3, actually this is a girls' room but we didn't style it specifically for girls, because in the new house there are two rooms so this room is shared with boys.
"We don't have a special play area for children," so we made this room a place to study and play too.
For minimalist decoration, we only used abstract wallpaper on one side of the wall, used wooden furniture to make it more aesthetic and used vinyl to keep the ambience warm.

How do you make your room comfortable to lie down all day?
The main thing for me to make our room comfortable to lie down all day is to keep it clean. A clean room will make us feel good and make us feel more at home in the room.
In addition, because my room is quite small, which is 2.7mx3m, to increase comfort, I only store items and decorations that are not too many (Less Decoration) to give a spacious impression in the room.
Some of the decorations used also do not require much space such as aesthetic wall deco. The presence of 2 daughters in this family meant that bunk/sliding beds were chosen so that 1 room could be used by 2 people with separate beds but still saving space.

This room was intended for a child's bedroom, but now this room has changed its function to a playroom. Because until now our two children still sleep together in the main bedroom.

The sliding cot mattress in my son's room is according to my wishes.

Very satisfied with the results, but a bit disappointed with the processing time which was originally promised as 2 weeks, but turned out to be 3 weeks.

How do you make your home feel comfortable and safe for your little one? For me personally, I always pay attention to cleanliness first. As much as possible when the child wakes up, the house is clean and the toys are neatly arranged in their place. From here, I also apply it so that the little one learns to be able to put and tidy up his/her belongings/toys after each use.
To be honest, we have not designed the child's room specifically, we only provide a 160x200 mattress with a plain white sheet and do not use a bed frame. That way, it is also easy for the little one to learn to get on and off the mattress by themselves because it is not too high and dangerous. Both in the child's room and in the family room, we also choose to use plain white cotton sheets to provide comfort for the little one's skin.
Not only that, the simple family room in our house only uses anti-slip carpets and lounge chairs so as not to endanger the little one when running here and there. This family area as well as the little one's play area is the place where we spend the most time.
The little one's toys are also placed in a child-friendly rattan storage. I arrange everything on the front TV table.
