The living room in our house has an elongated shape so it's actually quite difficult to arrange it, but we make it as comfortable as possible for family gatherings, save for a few chairs and a sofa.

Hi! I'm Hanif, owner of the account @hanifsulthoni. Since childhood, I have had a great interest in plants and all kinds of wood-based objects. That's why when my parents said I was free to design my own room, I immediately imagined having a room with large windows where sunlight could shine in so I could adopt lots of ornamental plants.
Of course, don't forget to fill the entire room with all kinds of objects made from (or at least have the appearance of) wood. After a month of looking for inspiration and fiddling with room layouts, this is what my room looks like now. Of course it's still not perfect, but it's enough to fulfill a small fantasy of having a room with various plants in it.

This is the view from the front of the main bedroom. There is a balcony with trembesi wood decking. Durable for use on balconies exposed to rain and direct sunlight.
For the open space stairs area, I used teak wood to make it stronger and more durable.
So far this condition is 5 years old but still ok.

Hi! Homeatforty is a developer's house which actually hasn't had any major renovations apart from the interior. Nothing has been changed to the layout of the house, let alone the facade (because you can't change it yet). Actually, I have a lot of renovation plans planned, but again I have to be careful in managing the budget, even though my dreams have reached the seventh heaven 😂
For interior design, I haven't used the services of an interior designer, I just took inspiration from various existing social media (now there is the O! House application plus lots of cool references). The journey of decorating or renovating a house is not a sprint but like a marathon, the breath has to be long 😄 (in this case budget or ability).
Why not make major renovations at the start? Because I am quite satisfied with the existing layout, although there is a lot that can be improved. Another reason for choosing the current house is because the house in this complex was designed by a famous architect whose work is beautiful 😍
Why is it called homeatforty? Because I just bought this house at the age of 40 😁 and have just started a new journey both in the world of home decoration, and also a new journey personally.
