We designed this kitchen with a focus on functionality and beauty. Child-friendly materials and furniture are essential to create a comfortable and safe home environment, especially if you have little ones who often play in the living room area. I chose furniture with rounded corners to protect them from the risk of impact. For example, a circular credenza made of teak wood and a round coffee table made of meranti wood.
In addition to being safe, both are multifunctional! For the sofa, I chose one made of velvet with a soft surface and of course the corners are still rounded, without sharp corners that could be dangerous.
Even though there are no children at home yet, almost every week there are families with children who come over, so it is very important to consider their safety when choosing furniture.

The kitchen is parallel to the dining room-pantry, making access to serving food faster.
We separate the kitchen-dining room with an indoor fish pond and an Ulin wooden bridge. The presence of an indoor fish pond provides a cooler atmosphere in the kitchen so that cooking becomes more comfortable.
Our kitchen interior focuses on the gray "stone" color of the floor and backsplash using the same ceramic. The table top is simply with "concrete cement" for an industrial impression. For the totality of the industrial kitchen set, it is installed using HPL with a stone motif. This matching color tone is quite helpful in making the impression of a more spacious kitchen, even though in reality the kitchen is quite small.
Contrast with the dining room-pantry. The interior is made "warmer" from the wood color and industrial accents in the lighting section. A solid table becomes the point of view of the dining room. Tips for making a room more spacious are to choose furniture and household appliances that are still in the same tone.

In house 43, I chose a minimalist teak wood door. The minimalist design which looks elegant and simple really suits the style of house 43. SOMETHING IN THE CORNER… ❤️
… previously in this corner at that time there was a washing machine (mojok laundry room). Honestly, the washing machine here is a bit unsightly, especially mine 😀. The room looks cramped and less aesthetic. So, because it's close to the dining room, I tried to make this corner into a place to wash hands before and after eating 😀. The wash basin that I use is terrazzo combined with a custom teak wood wash basin cupboard or table, the wash basin walls are plastered with hexagonal ceramics in a random arrangement, as are some of the floors, then as usual I give a touch of artificial plants... what do you think? From the start of building the house, my husband was determined that our bathroom had to be a bathtub for some reason.
