The Beauty of the Laundry Room Combined with the Back Terrace of the House. This small service area measuring 2 meters x 1 meter is located outside/behind the house, right next to the kitchen and the back terrace which also functions as a place to dry clothes. Behind the roaster there is a mini warehouse and a water pump that is deliberately hidden to make it neater. The terrace of the house with an open roof makes for good air circulation and coolness when inside the house. The combination of terrazzo floor ceramic materials and natural stone (coral) looks beautiful. The addition of Pachira ornamental plants looks even more beautiful and minimalist. In addition, there are ceramic benches with checkered motifs that give a modern minimalist impression. The installation of a unique sign board that says LNDr/m. (read: Laundry Room) makes this area look different from the service area in general. While I still choose mini curtains to prevent rainwater from splashing onto the washing machine, a side trolley as an organizer for soap bottles and cleaning cloths, as well as a cute cherry-shaped floor brush 🍒. Low Budget Bathroom Renovation Initially, the size of this bathroom was only 1.5 x 1.5 meters from the developer. But we changed it to 3 x 1.5 meters so that it could fit a shower, closet, and bathtub in one room without feeling cramped! and of course the choice of light-colored ceramics makes it feel more spacious and clean. The most exciting thing? We didn't dismantle the old walls, but simply pasted waterproof terrazzo motif vinyl wallpaper that is suitable for bathrooms and kitchens. The result? Due to space constraints, the bathroom size is only 1.5x1.1m. Although small, every corner can be utilized well. The use of ceramics also affects the size of the bathroom. So I chose white ceramics on the walls and terrazzo gray on the floor. Because the concept is minimalist, I used a black and white concept plus plants to make it fresh. —— Bathroom renovation This tiny bathroom finally had the fortune to renovate, even though it was only a low budget 🚿 Originally, the developer's wall tiles were white-orange. In 2022, we made over the bathroom walls with checkered patterned wallpaper stickers and replaced the floor tiles to match the monochrome theme of the house. Finally, at the end of 2024, we decided to make this bathroom a little more comfortable by: ✔ Change the tiles - Choose a terrazzo motif for a fresher & more timeless look. ✔ Upgrade the shower set - A touch of black creates a modern & elegant impression. ✔ Repaint the walls - Neutral colors make the room feel more spacious and clean. ✔️ Cabinet Mirror - Make additional multifunctional bathroom storage but make it neat. ✔️Replace the bathroom door - The old PVC door provided by the developer was badly damaged, the hinges often came off, the knobs didn't work, and even the doors had many holes. Finally we replaced it with an aluminum door with full glass to make it more durable and aesthetic. It doesn't always have to be expensive to get a comfortable and beautiful bathroom. The facade of a simple house with a modern minimalist concept. The roster fence is 3 meters high and has a horizontal iron fence with a central door opening. We chose 2 motifs for our fence roster. "Propeller" roster, a raised surface on the front fence of the house and the top is curved. "Donut" roster, a flat surface on the side fence of the house, its function is for privacy with the next door neighbor and to maintain air circulation to the terrace. We chose white paint for the walls of our house, giving the impression that the facade of this house is spacious and clean. The terrace canopy is standard, and our house still uses 3 original roof mountains from the house. The roof tiles are also still original from clay. Simple indeed. Sansivera plants decorate the front of our house and a large trash can according to the needs of the garbage disposal. In front of the house there are also street lights from the original. Terrace in the House, this is behind the roster fence. This simple but spacious terrace has sansivera plants with 1 meter high wall pots. Cheese chairs and aesthetic coffee tables decorate our simple terrace. Terrazzo floor measuring 40cm x 40cm and white coral stone. This terrace has an open roof. And at night we can get light from behind the roster which makes this terrace look beautiful.
