Some tips from this 4.5x3 meter room:
1. Good air circulation & access to sunlight.
2. Ensure Security
Because here there are large opening windows facing the street, we added WPC grilles to make it safer and for children to be comfortable doing their activities without being clearly visible from the outside.
3. Mattress height is adjusted to suit the child
4. Shelves that are affordable for children
5. Decorations that are easy to replace
Because children's tastes change quickly with age, we use:
- Paint the walls a neutral color
- Wall stickers that are easy to remove and install
- We only place color & pattern accents on bed sheets/wall art which are easy to replace

JUNIOR KIDS BEDROOM
This is my elementary school child's room. We chose a bed with storage to store bedsheets and sheet stock. Then this bed design can be pulled out and moved from 80x200 to a single size and when pulled out to 160x200 it grows according to age and needs.
The room measures 2.5 x 3 meters and because the budget is limited, we can't customize larger storage, so there aren't many things placed here. The TV is put in the bedroom because at night my child has to turn on the TV so he has the courage to sleep alone 😄 since grade 1 elementary school he has been sleeping alone in his bedroom.
Clothes storage in drawers fits more and is minimalist. The uniforms and clothes that are hung together are still in the big wardrobe in the other room hehe..

-Kids Bedroom-
Before this house was built, our twins always asked for a bunk bed room, but at that time we still didn't say yes because there was a big risk in having a bunk bed room with our very active children... in the end we decided we could have a bunk bed as long as the stairs weren't steep.
Even though brown is dominant, the ornaments and textiles we use are still colorful, because we want our child's room to look like a "children's room".
At that time we also thought about choosing the size of the bed so that they would still fit in their bed until they were teenagers, we also decided on a bed that was not too small, namely 120 x 200...

This is the room of one of our daughters.
For styling, he has his own style..
simpler and minimal knick-knacks.
We gave one of the walls a brown wood motif accent, made of ceramic, because that area is always damp, maybe because it is next to the bathroom.
For the floor we use vinyl.
