This mini pantry can be said to be our clean kitchen, and electronic equipment is more often used in this area.
while for the dining area we use an island table that can be opened and closed to save space. for the backsplash, I ordered a custom Dutch teak wood and then arranged it vertically.
this time the styling is "black n white" with a warm touch of wood color.

One tip from me: always stick to a color palette. Since I want a clean look, I go with black, grey, white, or cream for all the utensils—even for the dish soap and hand wash bottles.
For a personal touch, I added organizer boxes that look like coffee cans. You can get creative with what you keep in your kitchen!

I never thought styling a kitchen would feel like putting together a cozy living room, but here we are. At first, I thought the kitchen was just a place to cook. But it turns out, adding a bit of personality into it makes a big difference.
As you might already know, I like cute things. So, I added little touches here and there that fit my taste, so I can enjoy (?) more time in the kitchen😄 In this way, I make the kitchen feel more intimate and familiar to me, making it a space I can actually enjoy being in.

For our kitchen walls and table tops,
We chose white marble patterned granite flooring with dimensions of 60x120 cm so that there weren't too many pieces.
And so that it contrasts with our kitchen appliances which tend to be black.

This year there are some changes in the house.
1. Living room, finally we decided to use vinyl with a budget of 200 thousand per box for a room area of 32sqm and this really changes the ambience of the room to be warmer.
2. Bathroom, using precut tiles at a price of 23K / piece for a little Japanese impression and bathroom nice using granite at a price of 170 / box. For the bathroom nice list we use a wpc list at a price of 57 thousand per bar with a length of 120cm.
3. Replacing the kitchen backsplash using precut tiles the same as the ones we use in the bathroom, if you buy it boss the price is only 130 thousand for 6 pieces, this really makes the kitchen look very Japanese.
4. Bedroom, this is the corner of the room that I use for a work area, the floor uses vinyl at a price of 300 thousand per box, a study table at a price of 300 thousand and a transparent chair at a price of 200 thousand.
I think the materials we use are quite pocket-friendly and we also pay attention to the quality when choosing the materials.
And the results are satisfying for us 😊

Is it possible to have a kitchen that is always neat like Pinterest? The answer is: absolutely! 😆 The key is in one important thing: storage.
Because my kitchen is not only used for cooking, but also for other things, I want the space to remain neat and functional. So when designing this kitchen, I really focused on storage.
One of the highlights is the custom island table in the middle of the kitchen. The design is simple and versatile, but it secretly has many functions👍🏼
On one long side, this table functions as a dining area. The stool can be tucked inside so it doesn't take up space.
On the other side that is more hidden, there are drawers for storing cooking utensils, spoons, forks, small containers, and even spices. Because this part is not immediately visible from the outside, it looks clean but its function is maximized.
It doesn't stop there, the side of this island table also has a small shelf for storing books. Besides being useful, it also looks really cute as an accent in the kitchen. You could say, this island table is the star of the kitchen!!🌟✨ haha
For other storage, I utilize the main cabinet section that is attached to the wall. Items that are 'not so nice to look at' like gas cylinders, dry food with its busy and colorful packaging🥵🥵, medicines, and cleaning products, I hide them all there👌🏽😌
With all this storage, the kitchen looks neat all the time, not only for cooking, but also a comfortable place for other activities. Sometimes I work here, sometimes read a book while drinking tea, or journal in the morning⛅️🍵📒

—— Gang Senggol Kitchen Transformation
Actually, this kitchen is what makes my account really busy on Ohouse which is said to be inspiring 🥹
Even though this tiny kitchen like Gang Senggol is only 1.65 m wide and 4.8 m long.
It's not an open space kitchen either, because we bought this house already built by the developer and there is a partition between the family room and the kitchen.
Previously, this kitchen had an open kitchen theme (slide 6) so there were no kitchen cabinets, we only added shelves to store kitchen spices, but it did look messier.
After living in the house for 5 years, we had a little fortune to change the kitchen and add cabinets / kitchen sets in full black. We covered the backsplash and table top with wall stickers to save on the budget (slide 5).
Finally, this is our kitchen now, after joining ohouse from season 3-5, thank God I saved the benefits from ohouse and used it to renovate the kitchen, by replacing the backsplash, replacing the sink built by the developer, and adding vinyl to the kitchen floor.
