Dream Kitchen Story
My kitchen has been a long journey since it was originally a developer's built-in kitchen which already had a kitchen set, but because it was built-in, the kitchen set was what it was so we decided to renovate part of it.
The first thing we focused on was replacing the developer's small default sink with a sink that was twice the size of the developer's default sink.
The next thing we focus on is installing the cooktop, cooker hood and refrigerator divider. Because the kitchen space is very limited, the space for the refrigerator is also limited and the mistake is placing it close to the stove.
So to minimize heat exposure from the stove to the refrigerator, we installed a barrier made of tempered glass near the stove and refrigerator.
Next, we modified the bottom of the kitchen set door, which initially had no ventilation at all, we provided ventilation holes for the heat flow of the stove and so that it wouldn't get damp either.
For this kitchen remodel, we have prepared a fairly large budget specifically for selecting the stove and sink, considering that they will be used for a long time, so we have to look for ones that are really high quality.
After all the renovations were deemed sufficient, we started to organize the kitchen little by little, at the beginning we still used old items, but slowly started to change them to harmonize the colors.
Now little by little the dream kitchen is starting to take shape, although it is still not perfect as desired, but slowly it is starting to go in that direction

Our dream kitchen is a combination of white and wood. Therefore, apart from the kitchen set which is a combination of white and wood, all the kitchen equipment is also a combination of white and wood to make it look aesthetic, but so that it doesn't look "plain" we added several black items.
The middle cabinet is made "Open Shelves", apart from being used for storage, it can also be used as decoration, so that the kitchen looks prettier
and in the "Open Shelves" section, the same food jars are deliberately placed, so they look neater

The journey to realizing my dream kitchen from monochrome to earthtones

MashaaAllah, this is the final look of the kitchen after living in the house for almost 3 years🤎
From the start I chose an open space concept for the kitchen, dining room and family room. The room feels spacious, comfortable and I can monitor the situation in all directions🌼
This U-shaped kitchen is 2x3 m wide and is divided into 3 areas (prep, cook, serve). Even though it doesn't have partitions, it has to look aesthetically pleasing because the kitchen is facing the living room, so it can still be neat when viewed from any angle
After 2 years, last October I decided to replace the hexagon accent wall with a wall panel because the wood tone was more suitable for the vinyl floor that had been installed previously. The auto room vibes look warmer & more comfortable
Apart from the floor and walls, I also replaced the black and white dining table with white wood. I chose all the details such as shelves, oil bottles, storage, etc. white & wood so that the color is neutral and harmonious with the ambiance of the room.
I find a lot of inspiration for decorating my kitchen from Pinterest and of course from homedecor creators. This change does not happen instantly, it needs a process to make it happen
Tips for making your dream kitchen come true can start from things that we think are urgent to replace. Plan carefully so you don't regret it and collect your budget according to your abilities. I started by installing the vinyl, then replaced the dining table and finally installed the wall panels

Due to limited space, we combined the dining area and kitchen in one series. We use the kitchen island as a place to eat, just add chairs and make a dining table. It really saves space in our opinion. This kitchen island is also useful as a place for food preparation during cooking activities. Our dream kitchen took ideas mostly from the internet. The theme is the same as the whole house: minimalist with brown wood motifs combined with black. For the table top and backsplash, use granite with a matching color. Our most important tip when building a kitchen is to increase the number of sockets at several points for electronic devices. It's a good idea to determine the position of electronic equipment from the start, where the refrigerator, microwave, exhaust fan, etc. will be so that the kitchen will be neat from the appearance of the extension cables running across it. Kitchen with U-shaped table top
The idea for this U-shaped concrete table top came from Paksu who wanted the dining table to be integrated with the table top in a narrow area. Apart from saving the budget, this table top is also easy to maintain. Usually used for breakfast or just to gather while chatting.
What I like most about this kitchen is the sink with a large window facing the front of the house. Because my house is in a housing complex where there are not too many vehicles passing by, I am not too worried about the large window openings, in fact I can keep an eye on the children playing in front of the house while washing dishes/cooking.

My kitchen style 🩷🩷
From the start of building this house. I really want to have a dream kitchen. It doesn't need to be too spacious but enough to make me comfortable here. By choosing the color of the cabinet and table top that suits my wishes. Not too flashy but still colorful. Finally I chose a cabinet with HPL TACO. And the table top is solid surface material.
With dominant shades of gray.
My concept is, I don't want too many things in this kitchen. So there's minimal dust 🩷

Our kitchen-dining is in the middle of the house. This aims to unite us homeowners with guests. Because the main activity when guests come is definitely eating or just snacking.
