There are only a few details in this kitchen, the kitchen looks cleaner and tidier👩🍳
The backsplash area uses 30x60cm white brick motif ceramics.
The stove & cooker hood look in harmony with the kitchen sink, with stainless steel material that requires less maintenance.

One of my favorites in this house is the open space concept that combines the kitchen and dining room. With a size of 3.2 x 5.5 m, this design not only makes the room feel more spacious, but also makes daily activities more practical and comfortable! 💡

The kitchen island in the middle is not only for cooking, but also a multi-purpose area for snacking or chatting while cooking. The table top uses wood-patterned granite, creating a warm but elegant atmosphere.

With minimalist furniture and natural elements such as linen and wood decorations, the dining room is a comfortable place for my little family. Especially with the addition of ergonomic chairs that support aesthetics as well as comfort.

Make Over Kitchen into an open space
Previously, this kitchen had a wall next to the stairs and a wall next to the living room. But we dismantled it to make it feel spacious. We painted the wall near the stairwell with another color so that it was not monotonous or as a separator for the kitchen and stairs.

The current kitchen doesn't have a kitchen set, so that it still looks clean and minimalist, I added some decorations to make it more aesthetic. One of them is cloth covers under the kitchen and furniture stickers
These two items are my favorite because they can make the kitchen look better even without a kitchen set. The area under the kitchen can be used to store several items without looking messy. A kitchen table that has a lot of peeling can look new again by using furniture stickers, so it looks like a new table again with a fresher design.
The costs required to make the kitchen more minimalist are not that much, in fact they are very affordable. I sew the fabric myself so I can buy it by the meter according to the size and motif you want. Per meter of this fabric is only 20 thousand. The furniture stickers I need to make the table look new are around 120 thousand, the stickers are good quality and waterproof too.

Minimalist kitchen with white & wood nuances 🤍🤎
To make the kitchen look neat, you really have to use a kitchen set, here we use a lower kitchen set coated with HPL with wood motifs and white blacksplash to make it look clean. For the upper cabinet, we used an Ivar cabinet from Ikea that we had about 7 years ago but is still in good condition and 1 shelf from a TV cabinet makeover, this is the definition of budget-friendly for us and still functions well.
