For the kitchen, I still choose white - wood brown - and cream. Originally, the backsplash was a noble ceramic brick motif, but I covered it with a super easy DIY. I only used plywood covered with light gray paper. On the top there is a warm white LED strip light. How do I style my dream kitchen?
My home concept is open space so living, dining, kitchen become one area
For the size of the kitchen side, it is 3.5 m long and 4 m wide
I use a ready-made kitchen from IKEA's knoxhult with 2 cabinets consisting of 120 cm long and 80 cm long (with each width 60 cm, height 75 cm)
The kitchen styling follows the color of the kitchen cabinet, which is white and wood. I added a white upper cabinet and 2 shelves to be used as storage and decoration (enhancing the aesthetic impression in this kitchen)
Because this kitchen is minimalist in line, we made this kitchen a dry kitchen using an induction stove from π₯°π₯°
We chose teak wood furniture from Jepara for the dining table along with its chairs π€π€

A big change in my house, I broke down the kitchen and living room divider to make it an open space like it is now and broke down the concrete table in the kitchen. Previously, the floor was a different color because the new floor was shinier, finally I added vinyl flooring which made the room warmer. With a house that is not so large, we apply the open space concept where there are no partitions that separate the rooms, so that the room looks more spacious, not only that, the room is also not stuffy because the air circulation and light are also better.

The Japandi kitchen area facing the garden is limited by folding glass doors so it is more beautiful and spacious.

Kitchen & dining with Japandi theme with wood and white nuances. The area is not so spacious but still comfortable, with an area of 3x4 m2.

Storage in our tiny kitchen area.. there are only two storage cabinets.. knoxhult cabinet in the lower area and upper cabinet from Pira. The capacity of 2 cabinets is quite large so we can store all kitchen trinkets even gallons in this cabinet.
Because the kitchen is small, we get around it with hanging storage such as the sunnersta shelf above the sink, then the sponge scrub daddy with its hanger directly attached to the sink.
There is also a slim rice dispenser but with a large capacity of up to 10 kg.
We also try not to impulsively buy something according to our needs at home.

The kitchen is adjacent to the dining room with a space of approximately 3 x 4 m2, we put 1 kitchen set measuring 180 cm with a 3-door cabinet above it. And all the eating and cooking utensils must be sufficient in the storage space. So we do have enough eating and cooking utensils. For storing rice, we chose a slim look but large capacity so it saves space. And also an additional 2 shelves to store electronic devices.

When we were going to have a house, my husband and I had been eyeing a Japandi kitchen theme with dominant white and wood touches. Finally, we chose the ikea knoxhult kitchen set and assembled it ourselves without the help of a handyman.
The reason we chose ikea knoxhult was because later if we were going to relay out it could still be dismantled and reassembled. It's different if we had built a permanent kitchen with cement casting. And the price is relatively affordable with very good quality, until now it's been more than 3 years and is still durable and sturdy.

Because this house carries an open plan concept, where when you open the door you can see straight to the end, so you really have to have an aesthetic kitchen. My tiny kitchen has to look attractive by setting a color palette that matches the kitchen set. Our kitchen is predominantly white wood with a touch of maroon and black. So the decoration items and kitchen area decoration details match the mostly white palette. We also added some lighting in this area to make the ambience warmer.
