Hi, meet again with the Open Space kitchen & dining area at @first21.haus which is directly connected to our Living room. This time with a night vibes shot, this is the atmosphere of a cloudy and rainy night all day accompanying our evening activities.
Because without a partition, the room feels more spacious for mobility to cook and eat at the dining table while watching a movie on TV. It is also freer to arrange the interior and decoration as you wish. And to make it even more spacious, there is a sliding door of aluminum glass with a wood motif that leads to the back garden, this really helps air circulation when cooking and cross ventilation from front to back. However, when it rains like this, we close the sliding door so that it doesn't splash in.

A House Without Room Partitions 🛋️🍽️
A small house is not an obstacle for me to continue to channel my hobby of arranging space and decorating the house. Without being blocked by partitions, the living room wall is directly connected to the kitchen. It remains functional because access for watching while cooking feels close. Moreover, cleaning the house is simpler.
But for us who live there, this room does not feel cramped because I divide the space according to its portion, do not force furniture or items that are too large such as a sofa that is only 2 seaters, a round side table, utilizing the refrigerator under the stairs, and there is a mirror as a transition area so that the distance between the living room & kitchen dining still feels spacious. So, is an Open space house your choice for arranging a more comfortable space to live in?

Kitchen Make Over-Midcentury Modern Style🪩
When we first moved into the house, the kitchen was the first small renovation project that was done.

1. Changing the developer's original concrete kitchen into a 2-meter long Hpl kitchen set. Total budget 11 million (excluding stove, sink, tiles backsplash & cooker hood)
2. Installing sliding aluminum doors with wood grain motifs. To match the color of the kitchen set. Budget 6 million for 2.7 x 2.3 meters)
3. Decorating a midcentury modern style kitchen;
- Selection of Hpl wood color is rather dark but still warm & has character. (Inspiration from Pinterest)
-Patterned green back splash tiles, as a fresh touch of color so that it is not monotonous.
-Shelves. Can be used to display kitchen utensils & cafe-style decorations to make it more instagrammable.
-Ikea lantern pendant lights, inspiration from Pinterest which is low budget but has a big influence on the ambience of the room.
-Pop up color on art wall decoration, backsplash, vase + hanging plastic plants.
-Artificial Dracaena tree 180cm high as a room divider with the living room so that the kitchen looks more aesthetic.
