This is my favorite area, the main room does not expect a good view so I make my balcony green with plants, whether it is sunny or rainy it is always fun to sit here for a long time, I also often open the sliding door of the room when lying on the bed while looking out the balcony.. very calming

This facade design is a default from the developer. Don't be surprised, the facade is not fenced, but thank God the security is 24 hours.
The area covered by the garage is wider than the area designated for the garden. For the garage, we chose tiles with a slightly darker color (gray) with a rougher texture so that it is not slippery, for the roof we chose a glass canopy to make it look more aesthetic even though the maintenance is relatively more difficult.
For the garden area, there are 2 types of grass, live grass and dead grass (synthetic). Live grass in areas that are not covered by the canopy and synthetic grass for the relaxation area that is still covered by the roof of the house.
In this facade area, there are 2 relaxation areas that are deliberately made with different functions, the function in the garden area is as a smoking area for guests who smoke, the other part on the terrace is a transition function or a place to wait for guests (transition foyer).

✨ Split Level Facade with Mini Garden
Hi everyone, welcome to our house facade. Actually, our facade uses a design from the developer, but what makes it different from other houses is that we changed the terrace area into a small garden.
To add privacy in the front area of the house, we also added a Roster wall. In addition, because the house area is higher than the garage, we use a leveling system on the facade with stair access from two parts, stairs from the side of the garage & stairs from the front of the house.
Hopefully our facade can be an inspiration for minimalist homes.

Minimalist house facade 🏡
A very simple house facade, still the original from the developer. The combination of dark and light gray paint makes the house look cleaner.
We use roster on the fence wall and don't forget to add chairs on the terrace of the house to relax occasionally.
Hopefully we can build the facade of our dream house later ✨

In a corner of the unfinished house, we sit, quietly growing.
No big sofas or fancy shelves—just two chairs, a pair of beanbags, and a patient yellow light to accompany us.
This space doesn't say much, but it's already starting to tell a story,

Welcome to this mini balcony that is only a line 🤗
With a width of only 60cm, arranging this balcony is quite challenging for us. So in the early days of occupying this house, the balcony became a 'forgotten' area 😅
We wanted to have a relaxing area with a spacious table and chairs, but unfortunately the area is limited so to get around it we chose to use these minimalist chairs and tables. So far it is comfortable enough to relax and enjoy the sunset 🤍
Added with a rack of climbing or hanging plants, it feels like now this mini balcony is no longer 'sad' and a forgotten area 🤗

✨ No fence, Roster is also used
Our housing complex does not allow the use of fences in front of the house.
But as an introvert team, we finally got around it by using a roster on the side of the dry garden.
The plus is that the door is not directly visible from the front of the house and we have a more private dry garden area.

🔆 Favorite Moment 🔆
I used to really want to have a house with a backyard, because I wanted to ground myself, sunbathe, play with my kids, without having to be seen by my neighbors, you know, I'm a die-hard introvert 🥹
Then now it's come true ✨
I named this backyard as my favorite place in the house.
It just so happens that this backyard is directly connected to 3 areas at once; the main room, laundry room, and kitchen, and you can even chat on the 2nd floor from the windows of the children's room and the TV room, it really is the center of view in the house.
So, in this backyard I can multitask playing with my kids, while occasionally checking to see if the food is cooked or getting breakfast, washing clothes, or lying on the bed while watching the kids play, even chatting with my older sibling on the 2nd floor from the window of his room.
Here I use synthetic grass to make it cleaner and low maintenance, because the previous live grass never grew optimally.
Early in the morning, playing with my kids, sunbathing and enjoying breakfast are my favorite moments in this house. Absorbing vitamin D to the maximum, housework can be handled at the same time, bonding with my kids is getting closer, and my stomach is full because I snack while eating, ehehehe 🫶🏻

A place where when gathering with friends is definitely here,
there is a small garden spot here to pamper the eyes while chatting, our garden area here is not that big but it is enough to fit up to 5 people.
near the wall area we also installed teak wood seats, we added beanbags to relax and chairs and small tables to put snacks.

🔆 Pros and Cons of Dry Gardens 🔆
Before you decide to make a dry garden, maybe you need to know first what are the pros and cons of this dry garden:
Pros:
🎀 Low maintenance.
🎀 Easier to clean.
🎀 Not much trash.
🎀 Neater.
🎀 Minimal leaf-eating animals.
🎀 Minimal splashes when it rains.
Cons:
🍂 Bigger budget.
🍂 Lots of ants under the synthetic grass.
🍂 Less water absorption.
🍂 Synthetic grass takes a long time to dry if it rains.
🍂 Less oxygen is produced because there are fewer living plants.
Then, do I regret changing the wet garden to a dry garden? No, of course~
This is the best decision I have ever made. Because in the past my wet garden became more and more like a forest if it was not maintained often, splashes of soil when it rained also made the white aluminum door and walls dirty, not to mention various types of plant pests that made me ticklish.
The things I did to overcome the minus points of this dry garden include:
✨ Reducing the budget on materials that could be reduced, for example: because synthetic grass is quite expensive, so I looked for cheaper white coral stones, and filled the space not too full, it was quite economical for several bags of stones.
✨ Diligently cleaning synthetic grass with a vacuum cleaner and repelling ants with camphor.
✨ Making water drainage holes under the synthetic grass, to increase the water flow area in addition to the infiltration under the garden chair.
✨ Fanning synthetic grass with a fan from the room if you really need to dry the grass quickly 🤣🤣🤣
✨ Working around it with potted plants so that the dry garden remains clean but the number of plants is also sufficient to produce oxygen.
