Creating a comfortable & senior-friendly home for our parents involves choosing materials that are safe, durable, easy to maintain, and comfortable. The following are some materials that have been applied at #rumahlimut:

๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐๐๐๐๐: For the bedroom & living room area, we use parquet to make it comfortable, warm & not slippery when stepped on. Wood material also functions to dampen sound so that the room atmosphere can be quieter. * ๐ฒ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐

* ๐ณ๐๐๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐: A night light with a dark sensor in the bedroom & living room area that will turn on when the room is dark, so that when we enter the room we don't bump into something.

๐๐: We install textured natural stone in the sloping outdoor area so that it is not slippery when opening the gate after activities outside, especially if it rains.

Backyard Awhouse.
we have some leftover land in the backyard that we use as a kitchen and dining area, on average in the house area including the back area we use warm white lights there are several light spots in this house, for the dining & kitchen area we have one downlight, hanging lamp and spotlight.
we think lighting in the house especially at night is also important, and we want to create a homey ambience by choosing a warm white color.

Our house has 2 levels of floor height. The lower area near the river we use as an office (blue door). This is our semi-outdoor area at night. Here we can enjoy the outside space, welcome guests, or just take a break after work hours. The outdoor atmosphere really needs to be celebrated.

The atmosphere of the day and night is a minimalist dining room. Daytime conditions in this area receive abundant sunlight so it is suitable for the growth of plants under the void at the end of the house. At night it is decorated with night lights which can change the vibe of this room to make it even more serene.
Then the condition of the stairs during the day and night. During the day, this staircase area is illuminated by light coming in through the sliding balcony door which is positioned right at the end of the top stairs.
At night the stairs area has a dramatic vibe because of the effect of the spotlights placed on several steps.
