The open area in my house starts from the living room, dining room and kitchen in an L shape and is not just a line.
The first slide was taken from the corner of the living room, so that only the dining room and part of the kitchen are visible.
The open space area makes the room look more spacious and not cramped.
The lighting in the dining room and kitchen is very sufficient even without turning on the lights, because these two areas are directly connected to the side garden which can be directly accessed from the dining room. With fairly large doors and windows, during the day the lighting is very good, as seen in the 3rd slide.

Night vibes in my dining room 🌜
A little different from the nuances during the day.
For the dining table and chairs, using teak wood material, custom-made in Jepara, and I am indeed very satisfied with the results. The size of the dining table is 160x80 cm, adjusting to the size of the dining room which is directly connected to the living room and kitchen.
For the dining chair cushions, I chose a light gray color to match the color of the sofa in the living room.
For the decoration on the dining table, I used a table runner, place mat, minimalist flower vase with dried flowers, minimalist tissue and toothpick holders too.
Hopefully it can inspire all online neighbors ✨️

A neat and organized kitchen is the key to comfort when cooking. In addition to saving time in looking for cooking tools, ingredients and spices, of course a neat kitchen is more pleasing to the eye.
The custom kitchen set cabinet that I made during the renovation did not have partitions, aka just empty, because at that time I was chasing time and had to go live 😅. So I decided to use some additional kitchen shelves so that the space in the cabinet could be utilized more optimally.
For some kitchen spices and flours that are occasionally used for cooking, I put them on an additional wheeled trolley shelf, which is quite slim and turns out to fit perfectly in one cabinet next to the dispenser. This is also so that the kitchen counter top is not too crowded, and I only put the main cooking spices on it, such as salt, pepper, flavoring and cooking oil.
There are still many parts of this kitchen set cabinet that need to be tidied up, but one step at a time ☺️

Even though the kitchen cabinets in my kitchen are full from top to bottom, they are all hollow without partitions. So I need some additional shelves so that my kitchen equipment can be arranged more neatly.
Like under the counter stove, I use iron shelves to store my pans. In addition to making it neater, I can also store more pans.
In the drawers, I also use dividers to put cutlery and small cooking equipment. In addition to making it easier to find what I need, of course it becomes neater.

This storage area is located close to the dining room and kitchen. In this area I store cleaning equipment, and I also use the credenza as full storage for household equipment such as tissues, cleaning fluids, trash bags, mats and/or kitchen rags.
Because it is also close to the dining room and kitchen, I put coffee equipment, matcha and bread boxes on it, to make it easier when I want to make something.
To complement it, I added an artificial tree and also a painting on it.

The kitchen is one of the areas that underwent a total renovation in my house. As seen in the second slide, before the renovation, the developer's default kitchen was only about 2 meters and was located right when opening the door and before the stairs up.
I decided to dismantle the developer's default kitchen and move it to the back of the house which is an expansion area of the previous building.
After the renovation, the kitchen area became 2.5 x 2.5 meters, making it more spacious than before.
I made a custom kitchen set using HPL and the counter top uses granite. For the kitchen set, I made it full to the top, so that there is more storage space.
This kitchen is one of my favorite places, where I spend a lot of time exploring. Although not too spacious, it is very comfortable for me.
