Simple Makeover, Maximum Results!
Makeovers don't always have to be big and expensive. Sometimes, small changes can make the kitchen feel fresher.
I just changed the dining table chair covers, kitchen set handles, added rugs under the dining table, and open stacked cabinets for extra storage. The results were immediately different. Simple, fast, and still pocket-friendly. The kitchen becomes tidier and more cozy without the hassle.

Buying an old house, having limitations to renovate, so we have to make peace with a very limited kitchen area. So, we have to strategize, how to keep the kitchen looking neat. Having storage spaces, becomes KOENTJI hehehe.
This kitchen set happens to be customized by me, following the space. Like the storage cabinets under and behind the stairs with adjusted sizes. How about it? Hopefully it inspires friends who have small kitchens!

✨Life is a process
Slide 1- This exterior is simple but proud for us. Because it is the result of savings and also long discussions.
Slide 2- Favorite area is the warm ambience from the lighting of the open space living and dining at night
Slide 3- Void brick wall area in the middle of the house. In addition to being decorative and a focal point, this small area is very functional as natural lighting from morning to evening
Slide 4- Service stair access with a curved wall accent that is functional and space-saving
Slide 5- The sink positioned outside is very functional for washing hands every day and after going to the guest bathroom. We also added shelves and hanging boards to the cupboard next to it which function to store equipment and service details.
Slide 6&7- Photos of our house before being completely renovated. Due to the inadequate structural conditions and space requirements, it had to be dismantled.

This is how I utilize the empty space in the middle of the room. There is a storage cabinet, coffee table, picnic mat, and cute cushions for sitting. Usually I sit here relaxing while drawing, reading a book, or writing a journal. Sometimes I also work here when I'm bored or fed up at my desk.

✨ Laundry & Storage Room
This is a multipurpose area in the house, located across from the kitchen. We call it multipurpose because it has a fairly large area for activities, but its main function is to store some equipment at home.
We store it in an open closet using some additional storage. Next to it is a laundry area & indoor garden that we use as a place to dry clothes.

A Corner Spot in the Grava house
because the concept of our house is open space, so the boundaries between rooms are not separated by walls, but can be arranged in such a way through the furniture in our house.

Hello..
This time I uploaded a small spot from the side door, leading to the main room.
Looks like an old teak cupboard,
from my grandfather's time, which is still well maintained.
I use this cupboard to store old ceramic glassware, there are sets of cups, teapots, jars and other knickknacks, left by my grandmother too.
To make it look cute, at the top of the cupboard I put pieces of Vitrace from Ikea, so why cut them? hehe, because the side door of my house is not very high, so the vitrace was too long, so it was cut and used to decorate an old cupboard.
I also arranged room freshener spray from glade, bush flowers and Brazilian spinach. Daan didn't forget the wooden planks that had been eroded by time.

The left area of the entrance is the reading room area but it is not finished and not used yet so we decided to put a bookshelf and shoe rack here. To make it look less plain I added a mirror and details to make it more aesthetic 🥰

Spot in the bathroom area near the bottom of the stairs, initially this area was empty without any decoration, until finally we needed storage space for some kitchen equipment that could no longer be accommodated in the kitchen cupboard.
In addition to being a storage cupboard, we use this area for the need to look in the mirror when leaving the bathroom. So that it is not too empty or monotonous, we decorate the table with decorations from dried edelweiss flowers and artificial dollar leaves placed in glass vases.

Corner Livingroom (거실 코너)
- is a fast-moving storage area with a Korean wood feel. I added a cream-colored checkered cloth cover to make it look more simple Korean look. And add green leaf decorations to make it fresher.
- for chess, it is indeed real chess that is often played with family, so it is placed on the shelf of the cupboard because it is easy to take, but it can also be used as a sweetener for the corner decoration of the living room.
