In building a Scandinavian themed house, I looked for inspiration through the Pinterest and Instagram applications. Starting from the facade design, main door, to bedroom makeover, we do not use the services of an architect.
For the facade, we chose a triangular roof design with high doors and windows to suit the size of the house's ceiling which is almost 4 meters high. Meanwhile, for the bedroom, we also did a self-makeover by ordering wall batten and choosing the paint ourselves without the help of an interior design expert. The advantage of designing without experts is that it is of course more budget-saving. But the minus is that the design doesn't come together as a unified theme, or it could be less neat.

During makeover part 2 yesterday, I decorated the area near the window with a sofa and coffee table to just enjoy an afternoon snack.
but sometimes I change the setup with sitting chairs with a round table and portable lamps so that the atmosphere of the home cafe remains cozy.
Apart from being a place for me to spend time at weekends and after work, this coffee corner can also beautify my bedroom so that the area near the window is not too plain.

The 3x3 main bedroom has just been made over

What's in this 3x3 room?
We use this developer's bedroom as a bed and a workspace.
In this room we use a 160x200 mattress and in the corner we add an elbow-shaped work desk to utilize the space.
For the wall accents we use wallbattens that we made ourselves (DIY) with Dutch teak wood.
This bedroom is the first room that we made over to be bolder with black paint with warm accents from the wood tone.
