Main Bathroom - Wooden Japandi Terazzo. This is the bathroom in our master bedroom. When we built the house, terrazzo was quite popular so we decided to use it as a combination. We combined terrazzo with light gray granite and gave a touch of wood-patterned granite on the floor for a warm sauna-like feel. For the shower area we used rough granite material for safety reasons. Our washbasin table is in harmony with the color of the Japandi wood in the master bedroom. In addition, we also installed a warm white hidden lamp in the area above the washbasin as a second light (optional), which when turned on together with simple candle and aromatic lamp decorations, creates a calming night bath atmosphere. The color I chose is a modern minimalist color with anti-slip matte granite material with the same wall and floor color to make it look spacious. The use of ceramics to the ceiling so that maintenance is also easier. I want to make this mini bathroom still look spacious by only providing a curtain (without glass). Cool Monochrome Mini Bathroom (for us 😉😁)! Our bathroom is super mini, but make no mistake, we have a trick to make it look more spacious! We chose a white backsplash with a chic subway design, combined with gray terrazzo motif granite. The floor? We used plain gray granite that is simple and elegant. This bathroom is the result of a renovation of the developer's original bathroom. Initially smaller in size, we widened it to 1.8 x 1.8m. The material we used for the floor is granite with a matt texture, and glossy for the walls with a size of 60 x 60cm. Why did we choose this size so that the bathroom looks more spacious. Especially the walls to be cleaner and minimize the grout on the granite. For sanitary we chose black to match the color palette at home. To make it look aesthetic, I added WPC on the wall of the sink area and shelves for flower decorations. I think this bathroom is complete because there is a sink and a cabinet for storing items. But there are still mistakes that seem like this could be tips for neighbors. My suggestion if you make a dry and wet bathroom, it is better to make it in an elongated or rectangular shape, not a box like this. The initial idea was to want a clean bathroom, using cheap but unique materials. Therefore, I chose 20x20cm white ceramics which are quite affordable. However, because I didn't want to be monotonous, I combined it with different sized white ceramics, namely 10x20cm with bevel accents, also precut ceramics with 5x10cm modules as accents in the shower area. For the clothes hanger, I chose a playful one, namely the IKEA Fjantig product. Don't forget the unique mirror lamp also from IKEA (Metro) which can be adjusted for light intensity. The bathroom door is made of custom aluminum made in an aluminum workshop around the house. For the sink cabinet we used wood material coated with black HPL with a wood texture, for the sink itself I customized it with solid surface material to get the desired long sink size.
