In my house, the open space area is the living room area that is integrated with the living room. Actually, because we rarely receive guests, our living room also functions as a living room, so the living room in the middle is used as a multifunctional area. Because there are 4 dogs in the house, this middle area has more decorations on the walls so that the middle area of the floor can be used as a doggy play space. In this room, I use a table and bean bags that can be moved as needed. This table can be stored on a storage box near the wall when we need floor space, then it can be pulled to the middle when we need a table to work or eat. There is no built-in furniture in this area because I want this area to be able to be changed quickly as needed. This room is dominated by various materials and wood colors for furniture, inspired by mid-century design. And I provide a gallery wall to display home decorations such as artwork, books, or favorite figurines to give a personal and eclectic impression

My husband literally built a do-it-yourself shelf in our kitchen space.

I purchased cedar wood from Konan and had it cut to the pre-measured length by Konan's service.
It's surprisingly difficult to cut wood neatly, so I'm really happy to have it cut at a store.
Apply paint from above, let it dry, and place it on the metal fittings attached to the wall to complete it.
